It was clean enough and the staff was friendly. Was a little disappointed that the WiFi and Tv where not working. But as the manager explained they are still worki g som kinks out qith the renos. So that was understandable. I was pleased with my stay in all. I would stay again.

The Paddock Inn is a good little motel. Everything you may need is within walking distance. The manager was friendly and very accommodating and the price is right. The Paddock Inn is pet friendly, just make sure you choose a pet friendly room when making a reservation if you make one. We will go back there next time we are in The Crowsnest for a weekend.

Our room was adequate. Things that we missed were outdoor garbage cans and a plug-in in the bathroom. There was a note in the bathroom that said the hairdryer was under the sink. The hairdryer was there but there was no plug-in in the bathroom and no other mirrors in the room. The bed was very high and almost impossible for my husband (who uses two canes for mobility) to get into.

As a senior I like to feel safe when I travel. I prefer smaller motel. I have never had a bad experience. Many years ago I worked Security for a large downtown Toronto hotel. Was working the day of 911 and the weeks that followed were challenging. For that reason I now choose smaller motels

Coleman Surprise
This is an older small town motel but the owners have done their best to upgrade the rooms. We were very happy with it. The bed was so comfortable that we even slept in later than we expected. The room was quite clean except for the old stained carpet in front of the bathroom. That's the only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars for cleanliness. Overall, I was quite pleasantly surprised by the motel room and I would definitely stay here again.
