The bedroom downstairs with the single beds , dark and not inviting, a few flies. Large kitchen , lovely agar. Plenty of pots and glasses etc.Would benefit from an American style fridge as the food for 6 people and 2 children did not all fit in the fridge. "This cosy cottage was perfect for our stay. It had two well appointed and comfortable bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. Also, a large and well equipped kitchen (a few more larger mugs would have been appreciated however this is being really picky!!). The living room was very comfortable too. The location is great with so much to see and do in all directions. A special shout out for the welcome pack, which was very generous and greatly appreciated. "The house was perfect for our multi-generational family vacation. The children (2-5 years old) loved the yard and game room, and the adults got the game room to themselves when the children went to bed. The grounds are lovely and well maintained and the house is very comfortable. Martin, our host, was very responsive. We did not rent cars, so we used a tour company for day trips and also used taxis for nearby destinations. Thank you Martin!"

"Had a pleasant stay in lovely cottage, just outside Berwick upon Tweed. Property was very clean, host helpful and accommodating. "

"The house is in a lovely hamlet of holiday homes about 10 mins drive to Bamburgh. It’s got lots of space for a big family gathering and is close to good hiking paths. It is, however, a little rough around the edges. Lots of aspects of the property need a good refresh & I wouldn’t say that the marketing photos match the actual place. The listing also says it’s a .6 of a mile to a pub but that is not the case - the closest one is a 10 minute drive away. Maybe this is all priced in but it felt a...
