"Fantastic place to stay. The views were amazing. Very clean and comfortable. Each day a housekeeper came to empty bins and top up items. So unexpected service and was great. All amenities you need for a great stay. Town totally walkable with lovely shops and lots of history. Cathedral, heritage centre fantastic things to visit. Only negative was the stairs to the apartment but came away a lot fitter then when arrived "

"The property is excellent. 5 Stars!!! The problem was that we went to the address given on the confirmation but nobody was there to talk to. Since we had no WiFi available we could not contact the phone number supplied and nobody sent a reply when we finally had a WiFi connection. Luckily for us, one of the residents across the street came and contacted the people at Urban Retreats. "This was a great location with large comfortable rooms and fabulous views. Service was excellent and the restaurant was also very good. We were worried that the arrival of a cruise ship in front of the hotel in the morning would be noisy and disturbing, but it wasn’t an issue. "

"The staff was awesome and place was great. Views fantastic. Lots of hills to walk but worth the walk. Must be European thing but no wash clothes in bathroom but none of my hotels have had them. And was a great jumping spot to visit Kinsale (adorable) and Midleton's distillery (one of our trip highlights) and the Rock of Cashel (which was a top ruin) "

"Hotel staff very service minded. Got upgraded to a king size room without having expressed any wish for an upgrade. Grill restaurant staff a bit disorganized and not very experienced. Asked for a spoon for my Thai curry dish and got a soup spoon instead of a normal table spoon. Extra chili was interpreted into a bowl of mild mexican tomato salsa. The meal was still very nice."
