Clifden is a bustling market town in beautiful Connemara which offers many bars, restaurants, shops, and services. It will provide you with everything you need for your self-catering stay. Located on the Wild Atlantic Way, you are just a short drive from a selection of beautiful sandy beaches where you can swim, walk, or enjoy kayaking, surfing, coasteering or paddle boarding. There are many beaches dotted along the coastline and some of the more popular beaches can be found at Cleggan, Claddaghduff, Renvyle, Ballyconneely, and Roundstone. There are many walking routes in the area which offer fabulous scenic views at every turn, including the Connemara Greenway which can be accessed close to the property, the Derrigimlagh Loop walk, and the various walking trails throughout Connemara National Park. Local activities include fishing, hill walking, hiking, cycling, pony trekking, golf, boat trips, and much more. Facilities: 10 bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, sleeps 25. The accommodation is over three levels. The reception, kitchen, dining room, two living rooms, WC, utility room, and two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are on the ground floor level. The first floor accommodates four bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, including a large master, and a work/office space. The second floor accommodates four further bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. Ground Floor: Entry from the front door opens to a large bright and airy reception area with comfort seating and open staircase leading to the first-floor accommodation. The kitchen, dining and living room are to your left upon entry. The dining area is well furnished with large dining table and seating, a perfect space for group meals and get-togethers. The adjacent kitchen is spacious and modern and includes all equipment you will require for a comfortable self-catering stay. The kitchen equipment includes electric oven, electric hob and a gas ring hob, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator and ample storage units. The main living room off the kitchen has been beautifully decorated- bright, spacious with modern comfort seating and large plasma TV. The other corridor off the reception area leads to the second living room again furnished with modern comfort seating and large plasma TV with a bathroom off this room. Bedroom 1 “Áine” a spacious room with king size bed, ample storage and large ensuite with shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 2 “Caoimhe” a triple bedroom with three single beds, ample storage and ensuite with shower, sink and WC. A large utility with tumble dryer and washer and further WC completes the ground floor accommodation. First Floor: The first floor of the property is accessed via carpeted stairs which leads to four more bedrooms and an office space. Bedroom 3, “Aoife” the master bedroom, is very spacious and includes king size bed, Large flat screen TV, wine cooler and large en-suite bathroom with wet room shower, large clawfoot roll top bath, double basin vanity and WC. Bedroom 4 “Ciara” includes a king size bed, ample storage and an ensuite with bath and overhead shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 5 “Criona” is a spacious family room with a king size bed and 2 single beds, ample storage, window seats and ensuite with shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 6 “Saoirse” also a family room with king size bed and single bunk beds with ensuite bathroom with bath and overhead shower, sink and WC. An office space with desk, chair and lamp completes the first-floor accommodation. Second Floor: The second floor accessed by a carpeted staircase has four further bedrooms. Bedroom 7 “Aisling” is a single room with ample storage, dressing table and ensuite bathroom with bath with overhead shower, sink and WC. This can also be used as a second office space if required. Bedroom 8 “Sinead” is a triple room with three single beds, ample storage, TV, and ensuite with bath and overhead shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 9 “Siobhan” is a king size bedroom, with ample storage and an ensuite with bath and overhead shower, sink and WC. Bedroom 10 “Grainne” is another double bedroom with a king size bed, ample storage and an ensuite with bath and overhead shower, sink and WC. The property is heated throughout by an oil heating system. Bed linen and towels are provided. Heating, electricity and wi-fi is included in the rental price. Smoking is not allowed. Sorry, no pets. Cots and highchairs available by request. Hi-speed broadband is available throughout the property. Shared driveway with rental property next door. Ample private parking to the rear for this large rental. Short breaks are available year-round. A security deposit of €500 is required for this property.
