"The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order. The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area . Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough. The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break. We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break"

"Before we arrived, Rebecca contacted us to say that due to an issue at The Waves we could stay at The Cordelia. She made us very welcome and even carried our bag upstairs for us. We were very comfortable in our spacious room and it was a pleasure to return to The Cordelia after a busy day sightseeing. The B and B was very quiet, both inside and on the road outside. "Rebecca is the best! Whatever you want/need she’s there! Had a problem with the bedside lamp - she fixed it, injured my knee, she fed me (not for free I hasten to add before scores of people want the same!). She cooked my breakfast and made sure I was made to feel VERY welcome. Sort of sorry to leave!"

"This hotel is only a 10 minute walk from the train station. There is a restaurant in the hotel which you can book once you have checked in . Communication from all the staff was outstanding during my stay. There is a lift inside the hotel. They also do bar meals. This hotel is a 40 minute walk to Oliver's Mount. I would stop here again "

"Max and Ursula were excellent hosts who made me feel really welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was really comfortable and perfect for what I needed. The Sunflower Lodge was in a great location and within walking distance of the centre and less than a 10 minute walk to North Pier! I would definitely stay here again!"

"The location of the hotel is great, with good parking options around the hotel. The parking permit is a reduced daily rate. The hotel rooms are spacious. The food - breakfast and dinner - is truly incredible with nothing too much trouble. The only downside we experienced really was that we were in a room on the top floor which, while the room had clearly been hoovered etc, it was dusty in places with lots of cobwebs - while we don't mind spiders, we removed...
