"The house was in good shape and well suited for a large group. We had 10 that slept comfortably. Property manager responded promptly. Some minor misinformation on the VBRO site (likely just out of date) such as an incorrect WiFi password and sending the door code the day prior to arrival, but these were minor things that were resolved promptly with no issue. Overall an enjoyable experience and a nice setting on the lake. Some nearby gunshots in the early morning hours both days could be heard......

"Upon arrival the house was smaller than expected but after we checked in it was perfect . Everything worked as it should and there were no issues the whole time we were there . The owner supplied free firewood for the late nights outside while the deck at the waterfront and large docking area for the boats was appreciated much as well . "We stayed here because mother inlaw lives right around the corner and she had a zoo full. Was nice when the rain hit we were close enough to come back to our place and get peace from everybody else. Slept in the front room and felt like I was being peeped on all weekends with no curtains."

"Overall, we had a great experience staying here. The location is great, right next to Barbee Lake, also near Warsaw and Winona Lake. There is a very nice bar & grill restaurant right next door on the lake, and another restaurant in the hotel just down the road. The house was very easy to check into. There were no checkout instructions, which did make us wonder what was expected of us, so we just did our best to clean up after ourselves. Something else that we really appreciated was the game room...

This house is in a great location, on the quiet side of the lake, close enough to the public boat launch to use. The house has a grand pier and boat dock for fishing, swimming, sunning and boating. "It was a very calm and quiet location. Great accomodtions and helpful host. And... the paddle boat was a real hit with mu grandson. Also, met the neighbor who was very kind and friendly. Finally, I have to add that it was a wonderful sound of silence with no power boats of any kind being allowed on this lake."

"We had a wonderful comfortable stay. Enjoyed the lots of towels, toilet paper and nice shower soaps etc. Plenty of beds and all linens are well bleached! One small recommendation is to bug bomb the basement. We killed 6-7 spiders in our 2 day stay in the house. No big deal for country folk but even for us, it was a lot. Thanks for the hospitality!!"

"This was by far the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. This was a trip for my grandfathers birthday and the layout of the house along with cleanliness was beyond perfect.
