Welcome to "Sweet Tea Cottage". Your Home away from Home. This Centrally located Cottage is newly renovated and inspired by Southern Classic Charm and offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. Includes a King bed, queen bed, twin bed and a queen sleeper pull out sofa mattress.

This Cottage is centrally located to some of the best activities and attractions in North Georgia:

Enjoy all high-end luxury mattresses at the "Sweet Tea Cottage". The Master bedroom has a Stearns and Foster King Mattress, the guest bedroom has a queen luxury Purple Mattress and the 3rd bedroom has a twin Simmons Beautyrest Mattress. The game room offers an additional queen mattress with the sofa sleeper that pulls out. Enjoy the fireplace outside that overlooks a beautiful field (as seen in photos). We offer complimentary wood for the firepit. Sit on the back porch patio set (outside the master bedroom) to enjoy dinner and the twinkling stars at night. If You are feeling fun and competitive, We have a foosball table and a poker table and many board games to play the night away! To top off Your stay, the Cottage offers a coffee bar with complimentary Coffee and Teas and a separate office desk/work area. The laundry room is located beside the back deck (outside the master bedroom) and has a washer and dryer with complimentary washing detergents. The Kitchen offers brand new appliances (electric stove) and is fully stocked. ALL Smart TV's are located in the following rooms: Game Room has a 65", Living Room has a 45", Master Bedroom has a 50" and the Twin guest Bedroom has a 32". They are all Smart TV's, please bring your passwords for netflix etc. Free Youtube tv. We pride ourselves on offering You a 5 star stay and look forward to hosting You and Your Friends or Family. Ring doorbell cameras are only located at the side blue door and the front blue door only.

Great Host. House very clean and updated. Lots of room to move around. Would stay here again. The only thing I would add is a coffee pot in coffee bar. I don’t care for k cups just because we love our coffee. It’s on the main road and can be little noisy with traffic but that shouldn’t stop you from enjoying this cute house. Great location. Close to town. Must try the “Hush” restaurant. It’s very good.

What a lovely, inviting space. This cute cottage has been renovated to reflect all the hospitable charm southern living has to offer. If you have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Helen, Georgia area I highly recommend this place to stay.

This was a friends' trip, all women, aged 59-80. The location was perfect for the activiies we had planned in Clarksville, Helen, and Toccoa. Betsy was very prompt with checkin information and always replied quickly to messages. It was a bit chilly, but that was to be expected travelling to the GA mountains in February. Some rooms heated more quickly than others, but we had plenty of blankets and throws. The bedrooms were comfortable and large enough to accomodate the 4 of us. We did suggest to the host to add bars to the closets for hanging clothes (they were missing in 2 of 3 closets), which she indicated she would do. Additional power outlets would be nice, but the host did provide extension cords.We did wish the kitchen was larger with more counter space since we tend to cook meals together when we travel, but we each grabbed a space to work within and some used the large dining table. If you plan to cook more simple meals or eat out, the kitchen will be fine.The host did provide us with some wonderful restaurant recommendations, we tried 2 in Clarksville and 1 in Cleveland which were all great.We had hoped to hike a bit and see some of the local waterfalls, but the weather did not cooperate with us. If you are looking for a location to access some great hiking, this is a great option. If we travel to this area again in the future, we will definitely consider Sweet Tea Cottage.

Betsy was the most amazing host, super communicative and has the most adorable cottage! We had the best time, my personal fav was the coffee/hot chocolate bar she had set up in the pantry. 10000/10000 would recommend to EVERYONE we cannot wait to plan another trip back

Very Welcoming and warm feeling. It’s was very clean, and offered so much space. We loved the coffee bar! The porches for outdoor sitting are wonderful. It close enough to Helen and Cleveland which we visited both. Helen for the October fest and Cleveland for the Cabbage Patch Hospital. We will stay there again on our next visit to Helen. I was able to contact our host so easily. She would answer within the hour. I recommend this beautiful home to anyone planning to visit the area.

Every single thing about Sweet Tea Cottage is perfect. We’ve stayed there twice and plan to stay again, it’s that good. Betsy is superb in all her communications, and accomodated us when we encountered vehicle problems. I highly recommend staying here. It’s impeccable.

The location was great & very quiet. Only time I stay at VRBO & they had so many towels to use. It was easy to find & not far from Helen. I think I may have misunderstood about it only having one bathroom but other than that it was a great stay

From the time we pulled into the drive my family was speechless. The outside appearance is warm and cozy surrounded by greenery... Opening the doors we discovered the pictures don't do this place justice! Each room put together with touches of comfort. From the throw blankets, to the pillow top mattresses, to the dove shower gel Mrs. Betsy welcomes you to your Home away from Home!!! We will Absolutely stay again 😀

We came into town for a wedding and needed a place to stay. This home is perfect for what we wanted. Its close to Helen and just away from the traffic and crowd but close to many nice restaurants. We look forward to booking again when we are back in North Ga

The house is clean, cute and comfortable. We enjoyed the "out in the country feel" and wished we had more time to enjoy the porches and the backyard. The property is off a busy street, but something about that master bed! We fell asleep immediately and didn't hear a sound all night. It seems to be a house that has been added onto, so you need to watch your step. It helped that they had electronic candles, so we put two of them on the floor, one just before going into the bathroom to light it up and remind us to look down, and the other just before the hallway that leads to the bathroom. So no worries there. Betsy is an awesome host. Communication was great and seriously when I say the place is clean, I mean that it was immaculate! Thank you, Betsy! We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

We needed a place for our family of 6 for the weekend so we could attend a family reunion near by. This cottage was more than we imagined. There was plenty of room for 5 adults to be very comfortable. The beds were great and the bathroom was updated and clean. The added bonus was a coffee bar with all the flavors and k-cup options. We highly recommend this rental for anyone looking to explore the North Georgia mountains.

This is the cutest farmhouse! The owners have thought of everything to make your stay so accommodating from the comfy mattresses to the stocked coffee bar. My whole family slept well and enjoyed our stay so much! The house is exceptionally clean! We will be back!

We enjoyed our fantastic four night stay in Clarksville. The cottage was clean and spacious. Very well appointed, the pictures are exactly what you will find. Close to town where you can find wonderful restaurants. Or shop at Ingles and you will have everything you need to cook at “home”. Close enough to travel to the great mountain towns of Dahlonega and Helen. The cottage was private and I felt very safe even late at night taking our pups walking around the back of the property. Betsy is fantastic, a 5 star host with a 5 star rental! We would definitely recommend this rental.

We absolutely LOVED this property. It was perfect for our family. There was so much attention to detail all throughout the house. Betsy was fantastic and great with communication. The house is very clean and has everything your need. The location is great for hiking and down town Helen. We can’t wait to return!
