We rented a stay with CozySuites through Expedia from Oct. 3-5. We did not receive the code for the room ahead of check-in from CozySuites as promised. Upon arrival, we had to call to attempt to fetch the code ourselves. We spent over an hour on the phone, most of the time on hold, while they shared code after code as not one of the four codes worked. During the phone call, another couple showed up a couple of doors down and were also not able to get into their room with their code. We were on a tight schedule as we had expensive concert tickets and were trying to get to the show on time. The CozySuites customer service rep said there was another room available for one night, and we could stay there for the night and move back to the original room the second night after they had time to address the lock issue. We declined this offer as our schedule did not allow time to pack up and move the next day and reset in another room. We asked to cancel the room as we were exploring another solution on our own as we needed to stay on our schedule and were not reassured that the second room would even be able to be accessed considering the other couple having the same trouble with their room and this appeared to be a larger problem than just one room. We asked for a full refund and were told that they would not be giving a full refund as the “cancellation” was against their cancellation policy. We had zero access to the room, and they did not respect our time and trip.
