"Last week room had no furniture except bed and desk. Found out in true Alaska style the truck with the new furnishings for the entire hotel has yet to arrive. They are doing their best! Also excellent salmon fishing in the river across the street. Enjoy!"

"It's a good place to sleep. We stayed there on three separate occasions during a two week period. There are what appears to be illicit activities going on in the area but these people never bothered any of the motel patrons. The staff do their best to keep them at bay and the police drive through now and them. Fine place to sleep if that's all you need."

"An older place and a bit run down but the rooms were clean enough. No WIFI and I would not want to hand out much there but we just needed a place to sleep so this worked out well. "

"This place is adorable. Amanda was welcoming and helpful. Our room, the “Fishing Room”, was filled with fun things to look at and had a big clawfoot tub in the beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t come all the way from Florida to stay in some chain hotel—this place is off the beaten path, quaint, clean, safe, and I’d highly recommend it. We would absolutely stay here again. "

"This place is a DUMP! Stayed one night to catch an early flight. In need of MAJOR renovation! Old musty carpets to old, and patchy paint, poor squeaky floors from one end to the other. If my wife was with me, I would have not stayed at all. Early morning shuttle was there and timely the next morning. Nut the only positive thing I can say! "
