The property recently has a new owner and has not been on VRBO, so there are just a few (5 Star) reviews. Enjoy the views on the 7 acre estate of Christiansted, overlooking the ocean, Altona Lagoon, and the Buccaneer Resort. This property is ultra safe with an 8’ fence around 4 acres of the property and electronic gates. The house is 3,500 ft.² and enjoys gorgeous ocean views from numerous beautiful glass doors to its swimming pool. The rental does not include the other house located in another area of this 7.7 acre compound which may be booked separately on VRBO under Whispering Palms I. The property under took a major renovation in 2020. Check out our huge weekly and monthly discounts!

This is an absolute GEM! Look, real talk… if you want an amazing stay, then book it and stop thinking about it! This was our first time using Vrbo and we were a bit skeptical. No more! Not only are we coming back, but we plan to rent both homes on the property. What we loved: 1. the VIEW! WOW! You have to see it to really appreciate it. 2. The pool was amazing and refreshing, a nice private place to enjoy great music, delicious local cuisine, and relaxation. 3. The security. Gated and quiet community. We felt very safe the entire time. 4. The beauty of the property. The property was amazingly well kept and picturesque.What we liked: 1. The property was amazingly clean. Of the things we were concerned about, this was one of the main items. 2. The house really has great space, comfortable amenities, A/C, fans in every room, and the beds were absolutely superb! Televisions in every room, a nostalgic record player and albums, and Bluetooth speaker. 3. The house has snorkeling gear for four, beach towels, coolers, spices for cooking, a grill, coffee maker, keurig, and everything else you can think of. 4 Our iguana visitors. Amazing creatures who only came out early in the morning to sun bathe, then went on their way. It was cool watching them hang out. Don’t worry, they aren’t aggressive. Give them space!Our hosts Arthur and his on-site manager, Leo, were awesome! Great people who were very responsive and helpful. Leo, thanks, brother! We’ll be back!

Everything about Whispering Palms was top-notch. Great location, impeccably clean, with fantastic views. The check-in process was a breeze, and Leo was an excellent communicator and host. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent private location close to many local amenities. Leo is an exceptional host who made sure every unthought of need was already taken care of. The home is immaculate , spacious and well taken care of. The view and serenity is to die for. We loved everything about this home and will definitely be back. We had a small intimate dinner party for 15 and it was perfect. The chef loved the kitchen layout. The guests were all amazed. This is definitely a 100/10 property.

We love this property!This is the second time we have stayed here on a "staycation". This time was for my husband's 50th birthday. The property manager Leo was welcoming and accommodating and the owner was also readily available for any questions we had about our booking. Fantastic experience, as always. Would absolutely recommend this property and we hope to be back again soon!!!

Couldn't be any better. Everything was as listed, location was absolutely amazing, 2 markets were less than a 1 minute drive. They had both Keurig and drip coffee makers, and kcups were provided. The kitchen was well stocked. Thanks for everything!

If you're looking for a private, secure, well-appointed retreat in St. Croix, this estate in Christiansted is a great find. Overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Altona Lagoon the property provided great panoramic ocean and island views that we enjoyed from sunrise to sunset.This property exceeded all my expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the quality and the attention to detail throughout. The host, Leo, was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable about the island and surrounding attractions. His tips and insights made our stay even more enjoyable.

Great Stay in St Croix

We recently stayed at Whispering Palms 2 for nine days and loved it. We've been to St Croix many times and rented several homes over the years and this one was the best. The property is beaufiful and the location is great! Leo was very accomading and easy to deal with. We plan to return!

Paradise

If you have ever wondered where the super rich vacation in St. Croix, a stay at Whispering Palms II will answer all those questions. The features of the property are amply and accurately described by the other reviewers of this property. We would only add that the security, privacy and beauty struck us like no other VRBO property that we have enjoyed. One of the best features of the property was Leo, a co-owner and manager who made us feel welcome while making sure we were comfortable in every way. We will surely revisit Whispering Palms II and strongly suggest that you do so also. We are sure you will not be disappointed. Dennis and Judy

Hilltop Sanctuary

This house (guest house) is modern beautiful and way more than you would expect from a guest house. The views are beyond!! You have the ocean view right in front and Christianstead off to the left. The pool was lovely and even ready for night time swim where we could also star gaze. Leo was great in helping us check in and out and my family of four had an amazing time!

Exceptional property

No doubt, the finest VRBO property we have enjoyed. From booking to departure, our stay was Five Star. No hype, this is a multimillion dollar estate. The opportunity to enjoy such an ordinary experience is one which we will soon revisit-on what will be our sixth trip to St. Croix. Arthur and Leo were very friendly and helpful. Location, amenities, the view, maintenance - and so much more - our week vacation was an exceptional experience. May thanks to our host.We will be back.

Absolutely gorgeous and very relaxing

Our stay at Whispering Palms was the best vacation we have had to date. The home is stunning and feels so roomy and comfortable. It is fully stocked with chairs, beach towels and anything else you may want for your stay. We sat and had our morning coffee in the lounge chairs with a breathtaking view. Leo, the property manager, is a fabulous host who made our stay that much more special. He had many wonderful recommendations for places to see and eat. We will be back to stay again very soon! Thanks again for having us!

Beautiful home with amazing views

This home was probably the best home I’ve ever stayed in through VRBO. Stunning views, beautiful property, the house was completely stocked with everything you could possibly need. The property caretaker, Leo, was very kind and helpful. My family and I had an amazing time and didn’t want to leave this paradise!!

Simply Wonderful!!! If more stars could be given, they would be for this property, house, and Leo.

This property and house are simply wonderful. There is a spectacular view of the lagoon and ocean from the vast windows/doors that are along the entire length of the house. The outdoor covered areas allow for a break from the sun and covering during those quick rain events. There was always a breeze up here on the hillside, which was amazing. The kitchen offered everything we needed with spices, condiments, and an array of cookware. The bedrooms, each with it's own bathroom were perfect, with beds that were comfortable! The pool was wonderfully refreshing, clean, and there were floating devices to just relax while in the pool. The property manager, Leo, was superb!! He offered suggestions on places to see, restaurants to try for all different types of food, as well as where to get groceries on the way from the airport so that we could begin relaxing as soon as we got to the house. Leo was excellent at responding to text messages. Leo made sure there was everything that was needed and went above and beyond to accommodate. The house had beach chairs to take to the beach. Numerous beach options are just a short drive. The house had binoculars to watch the coming and going of the ships/boats. There was snorkeling equipment of various sizes, beach toys for littles, or big kids that still like to play in the sand, extra floating options for the pool. Leo has put together an array of records, yup records, with a great player which we all enjoyed very much.

The pool was a huge hit. Our kids loved it, we could keep an eye on them while being inside and the view from the pool was great. The palm trees and grass that separate the 2 houses made it feel like a resort. We weren’t sure if the access to the 2nd bedroom (outside) was going to work for us but it was fine even with 2 kids under 10. Leo was great at communicating. There are at least 4 security cameras mounted on the outside and pointed at the house and pool that we didn’t know about. Not sure if they are on or not but we didn’t love that. My family (2 adults and 2 kids) had a great time and really loved the house. It was the best part of our 2 week stay on St Croix.
