"The Tylfull is luxurious, comfortable and offers a great welcome.
The decor is very smart, the services are good and the bedrooms well-appointed. Lovely beds and lovely bedding, smart luxury bathroom. Immaculate housekeeping means the hotel is always spotless. I didn’t like the high tech lighting system but younger guests will probably love it. The best place here is the ‘Beer Garden restaurant’ - a lovely outdoor area which has great food from chef Chen and a great welcome from manager Yanna....

"3rd time on same business trip at this hotel. This time we experienced issues with heating in corner rooms. Staff was friendly and did exchange us to rooms with working aircon/heating. Overall friendly, no-frills, hotel with OK fitness incl. sauna, but no pool, no bathtubs anywhere. Good if having business nearby. "

Wifi working OK. Fitness OK. Inhouse Spa very expensive. Got a free drink on my Priority Club card, even though I booked via hotels.com. Local area not interesting. Would only stay here if I had business in the area. "

I took a chance and booked us a location that was off the touristy spot where all the big hotels were - so glad I did - VUE is a hidden gem. We took to walking around the Hutong neighborhoods right away, my father loved his morning walks in Houhai Park which was right behind the hotel.
