"I went there to rest and relax and that I did. The food was ok and the wait times by the pool could be a little long but that’s no dealbreaker. "The view from the suite was marvellous .. and so was the music in the restaurant on one of the nights. But that's it for positive comments. The hotel room is in a terrible state of repairs. It rained through the windows, the tiles on the terrace floor were rusty and dirty. The door mats were old and dirty. The floors in the room were so slippery that you had to be very careful not to fall. To this can be added that service was lousy most of the time and the style is industrial and low key. "

"There is not much to say in favor of Holger Danske Hotel but for the central location. The hotel is run down in need of all kinds of redecoration and repair. According to the description on hotels.com we would have a view to the hills. We looked right into a fence. The service was not very kind and basically could not see the problem. The ground floor rooms should at least be sold at a much lower price."

"We truly enjoyed our week at Chad’s place. Chad was a wonderful host. He answered all of our questions very promptly.
