"Vi havde booket én overnatning på vores vej til Sydspanien, og blev ekstremt positivt overrasket. Hostellerie de Roques er på alle måder et idyllisk bekendtskab. Det ligger midt i smukke vinmarker. Har en fantastisk god restaurant. Og så havde de til vores børns glæde en swimmingpool. Vi planlægger at komme tilbage og tage nogle flere overnatninger næste gangen turen går "forbi" Bordeaux. Kan varmt anbefales."

Hotellet er hyggeligt og ligger fredeligt midt i vinmarkerne. Men dog højst besynderligt at hotellet ikke fører Chateauets egne vine. Stedets restaurant er helt fantastisk med spændende retter på menuen. Og så er der kun ganske få kilometer til Saint Emilion og Pomerol."

"My husband and I had an incredible stay at Chateau De Ferrand! We stayed for only one night and the room, food, wine, and hospitality were out of this world! We wish we could have stayed longer. Balthazar and Elliot were very attentive, kind, and even gave us recommendations for the next stop on our trip. The views of the vineyards were lovely and it was quiet and serene. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it!"

She sat us down with a map of the town. She circled and labeled things she felt we shouldn’t miss as well as places I told her we had things booked for. "The Chateau du Palanquey is an amazing property. There are only a handful of rooms and it is very secluded. The owners helped us out with wonderful local restaurant recommendations and a brilliant wine experience. I cannot recommend this property more highly. It was magnificent. "
