Château-Gontier also boasts a national cultural scene, the Carré, at the Ursulines Cultural Center. It hosts notable festivals such as the V&B Fest and the Comic Strip Festival.

At the exit of Ch âteau-Gontier, from the roundabout of the National Gendarmerie, Avenue Eric Tabarly, go 600 meters and turn right. Go 50 meters and take the road La Poupinière on your right. Follow this small road for 650m, then turn right: a tree-lined path takes you to Plessis: private entrance to the gîte.
