We checked in late at around 12:30am and this location does not employ overnight desk staff so I had to use the virtual assistant machine in the lobby. The woman was so helpful but the machine was having trouble making our key cards. It took and hour for things to finally work and we finally got into our room at 1:45am, exhausted and defeated. The staff was amazing at trying to fix the problem even though upper management was not answering any phone call. The real issue was the decision to not hire overnight staff. Very poor choice on the company's part. I'm extremely disappointed in the way this company has decided to get rid of in-person staff onsite. This shouldn't have happened and could have been alleviated if someone was there to physically unlock our room for us so we could get some sleep.
