Location was good to access Charlotte area. The host was responsive when we reached out regarding the wifi issues though the wifi was still not working even after resetting the router numerous times.The fit and finishes of the property need attention. The towel bars in the bathrooms were loose, the seal around the front door wasn't tight, allowing cold air/light into the house. Taking plates from the cupboard, they were dirty. We washed them as there was nothing the host could do at that point. The kitchen was missing items. For example, 1 extra trash bag under the sink for a family of 7 for a week long stay is not enough, nor is a small 3 oz. dish soap. Only 5 K-cups provided & an empty box above the microwave. There were no 9x13 pans, measuring cups/spoons, cheese grater, or aluminum foil. We purchased some of these items & left for the next guest. The outside trash cans were very full when we arrived. To be fair, the host did reach out and ask us to take the trash cans to the curb 2 days into our stay/the day prior to pick up, but we did not see the request in time.We loved the dog friendliness of the property, the bowls and extra poop bags provided were thoughtful touches. However, there was a distinct aroma in the neighborhood when we walked the dog... Lastly, and not in the hosts control, the sound of cars racing down the street or highway in the middle of the night woke us up several times.
