Gîte du Val d’Egray – Charming House with Garden in Champdeniers

Authentic character house over a century old, Gîte du Val d’Egray has preserved all the soul and charm of traditional French country homes: spacious rooms, original floors, and typical regional architecture. This renovated former presbytery of 200 m² welcomes up to 10 guests in Champdeniers and will delight those who appreciate heritage and genuine countryside, far from standardized interiors.



There are 4 bedrooms, each with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, double sink, and toilet. A large living room is perfect for gathering with family or friends. The fully equipped kitchen offers a generous workspace and a table for 8 to 10 people.



Wi-Fi and TV channels are included. A games room is available for both children and adults. With ground-level access, you can enjoy the private garden and open terrace, ideal for outdoor meals (barbecue) and relaxing in a peaceful setting.



The house is on the Saint James’ Way, at the gateway to the Marais Poitevin and the Green Venice, perfect for country holidays: picnics, swimming, castle visits, hiking, and cycling. You are about an hour from Puy du Fou, La Rochelle, and Futuroscope for excursions. For planning your stay and discovering local activities, you can consult the Deux Sèvres tourist office.



With local partners, the gîte can host wine tasting evenings with charcuterie and cheese platters, available on request. A marquee with furniture and tableware can also be provided for larger events such as weddings or retirement parties (available on request).
