"The hotel was very clean. We were late arriving and the clerk called me and text instructions on retrieving the room key. Everyone was very nice. The only issue was the air conditioning unit was loud.
Would definitely stay here again!"

"This was a great place to stay. The suite like room was fantastic. The inside parking was great especially when it was pouring out. All I would say is take some breakfast supplies like eggs and fruit. They had toast, bagels, and muffins. Highly recommend. "

"It was on my Granddaughter's bucket list to visit this haunted domain. It was a great stay in our mini-suite. Got the haunted room 409 pictures, at the door.The walkable history lesson at the namsake museum is a must. It all made memories."

"Such a great stay this week. The room was nicely renovated. The bed was comfortable and the rain head shower was magnificent! The staff were so friendly and made check in/out so easy. We enjoyed the pool that was very refreshing for the hot day. We will stay here again when visiting!"

"At first glance the place seemed a little sketchy since it looks like an old school motel from a horror movie. However, the room was amazing! Beautiful wood flooring, all new renovations extremely nice beds and a perfect use of the space! Awesome experience and would absolutely stay here again! "

"This was our second time to stay at the Tygart Hotel. It’s absolutely beautiful; extremely clean; professional and friendly staff; quiet; great restaurant and bar; and a lovely continental breakfast. We highly recommend this property and look forward to staying there many more times. "

"I read a lot of bad reviews after booking the room and was expecting the worst, fearing that I had made a mistake with the booking . Man was I wrong, the desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful, the room was very nice and clean with everything working. Great place in a great location. The only downside is no cell service due to a radio telescope in the area. Use WiFi to set your GPS BEFORE you go traveling. Wi Fi is on the property and at most destinations in the area to set your GPS to travel...
