"I booked a two night stay at this historic Inn. Unfortunately it did not live up to expectations and I had to cut my stay short. The bathroom was in such bad repair and smelled like sewage that I refused to use it, which is why we chose to leave after only one night. The place has great potential and the staff is very sweet, but the place is dilapidated and in serious need of repair especially the bathroom of the Jefferson suite. "The proprietors of the Inn were very hospitable and available. It was a very charming historic place and we enjoyed touring the town with the historic markers on the buildings and the park down the street. We especially enjoyed the individually prepared breakfast in the morning."

"Stayed here for a night on a road trip and I don’t think I could have made a better choice. Beautiful area, very homey and welcoming atmosphere, and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was delicious homemade quiche, along with other continental choices. Heidi was the inn keeper during my stay and she was an excellent hostess. Would stay again!"
