"Hotel is new and immaculate. It has beautiful grounds and pool area, making it feel like a high-end resort. It is only about a 10 minute drive from downtown Lompoc, where there are many dining options. But you don’t have to go offsite, as there is a very nice restaurant and bar at the hotel. The distance from downtown is a plus. We were about to get a hotel in downtown, but saw a number of homeless people in the area and had concerns about safety. "

"While there isn't much in the way of 'personality' in this hotel, it is very clean, comfortable and offers a super breakfast. The pool is very small but kids will still have fun there. Staff is friendly but you really don't interact much with staff outside the breakfast room. Strange things: our towels were replaced but the coffee and cups were not replenished. Had enough but just a little strange. Beds were made daily. Very comfy quiet place and convenient parking, great location. Dog...

"What a wonderful and unique stay for our family road trip! After many hotel rooms, our cabin at Avila was a fun stay. This is mostly an RV park, but it's quiet and friendly with several cabins to rent.
We were a bit confused, thinking we had booked the Hot Springs cabins. But there is a great pool, trails, and other fun activities."

"The reality and the pictures of the hotel are two different things. We were underwhelmed by the rooms and the very small bathroom. The beds are hard, the water takes forever to get warm, there were noise/loud music close by. Then they charged soo much on my creditcard - more than double the amount we had used. We do not recommend this hotel "
