The grounds are very charming and the creek is beautiful. The hospitality is absolutely top notch. Loved having breakfast brought to the room. Upon check in I let them know that we would be leaving before breakfast on our final day and they offered to bring it the afternoon before so we would have breakfast for our travels! Just...

"We had a great time at the Silk Pincushion. It was an easy walk and easy drive to hike to the mesa or get to dinner downtown. What stood out is the breakfast and the company. They hosted and treated us to a great breakfast and the people were so friendly and easy and enjoyable to get to know. We were interested in Golden's history and the home and they were fun and impressive historians :)"

"Lovely place with gorgeous view, but listing on Expedia needs to note it is far from Idaho Springs (which is what I searched for rooms) and that it is very limited accessibility for handicapped. "
