"Hotel Fontanelle is in a small town. There is a superb restaurant (pizzeria notte) and the surrounding area is quintessential Italy. Just check your bus schedule, and be patient with the late arrivals. "

Lidt besværligt at nogle værelser ligger ganske langt fra morgenmadsservering og pools, så man skam køre i bil eller gå i varmen. En pool ved huset ville være bedre. Rigtig pænt, stort værelse med alle nødvendigheder i god kvalitet, velfungerende aircon og dejlig terrasse med fantastisk udsigt over vinmarkerne.

"You essentially stay inside the walls of a large estate with a central courtyard. Our room on the second floor with a balcony overlooked the courtyard. The small town has two Michalin rated restaurants that are excellent. The location is difficult to find the first time and you should plan your arrival during daylight hours. The staff is excellent and lent us books and maps during our stay. Breakfasts were remarkable. "

We can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff was. We ate dinner one night and the food was terrific. The wait staff was friendly and efficient.
