Excellent Location
It was in a great location and beautiful. We were in Cedar Rapids for a gymnastics meet at Alliant Convention Center. It was a quick drive there. We would have walked if the weather was better. Great city with lots of great local restaurants and stores.

Overnight Stay
Check in and check out was seamless and straightforward. My only issue would be a relatively large cleaning fee and we had pet hair on the couch from a previous stay. It wasn't a lot of pet hair, but noticeable. Overall a good place to stay.

Coming Home to Cedar Rapids
We stayed at the cottage for 10 days during a trip to visit family and friends. It was great to have a comfortable and cozy place to land. Loved being able to walk to coffee, bookstore, deli and local restaurants. The little house was perfect for us! Thank you so much!!

Great location and great home
We stayed at this home while dropping off our son at Coe College. The location was amazing-walking distance to NewBo and Czech Village. The home was well stocked with anything you may need and the beds were so comfortable. We loved having a garage, too. The decor was very well done. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location
Stayed in both cottages with our family. They were within walking distance to Farmer’s Market, restaurants, and downtown Cedar Rapids. Great fit for us. Very comfortable homes.

Perfect spot for Cedar Rapids stay
We had 3 couples stay at this house for a concert at McGrath Amphitheater and it was perfect. Very close to many things in town. Will definitely stay again when in town!

I booked this for my bridesmaids to get ready for my wedding. The space was perfect: clean, airy, modern. The perfect space for what we needed it for! Check in was a breeze and the host was superior as well. Excellent communication and fast response. I can’t recommend this cottage enough.

Perfect BoHo Cottage Plus
This was a top notch VRBO experience. Perfect stay for my family of 6 adults. Kitchen island worked well for us to socialize around. Great showers and super comfortable beds with quality linens. Ample parking in the adjacent lot. Within walking distance on New BoHo, Czech Village and the Alliant Energy Center. Great stay.

We stayed here one night on our way to a wedding. We wish we could have stayed longer! The house was beautiful, everything looked brand new and thoughtfully decorated. We had everything we needed. Also super close to wonderful bars and restaurants. If you're on the fence about booking here- do it!!

Weekend with Family
The Burnette Cottage was the perfect place for our family to stay for a weekend in Cedar Rapids. It had all of the amenities we needed and plenty of space to sleep everyone comfortably. The home is beautifully decorated and very clean. The owner was very timely with responses. We hope to be back for future stays!

Awesome Home Close to Great CR Location
We were looking for a home to stay for a for a family wedding in Cedar Rapids. The Burnett Cottage was exactly what we were looking for and the layout and modern look was just as it looks in the photos, Great place, conveniently located close to our wedding venue , Newbo district and Czech Village. . The trains were not an issue. Renjena our host was great to work worth with prompt responses on any questions we had and concise details on the check-in and check-out process. Will absolutely look to stay here again on our next visit soon.

A very new, clean and updated home. Close to the NewBo area. Lots of other new construction in the area. Plenty of space and bathrooms. The train was an issue for some of us lighter sleepers. It was warm upstairs so we opened up the bedroom window, that was a mistake. The trains are very loud at night. Bring ear plugs.

Comfortable and Convenient
The location offers easy access to the nearby entertainment district. If there is a need for quick access to visit family in the local hospitals, it would also be ideal. The location was clean and welcoming. The kitchen is very nice and has just about anything you'd need to cook a meal. The 3 restrooms (2 full baths) easily accommodated our family group of 8. The beds, pillows and linens were awesome! We appreciated having access to a secured garage for one of our vehicles and our bicycles. They also had extra bicycles for those who might want to take an impromptu spin to one of the local restaurants for a bite / refreshments. We will definitely try to book this location next time we come to Cedar Rapids!

Perfect Christmas Stay
We are from the area but recently moved. We needed a home base for our family Christmas, and this was perfect! Loved the little holiday touches, and made use of the fully outfitted kitchen. Beautiful home and we'll stay here again!

Great Stay!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in the Burnett Cottage . Our daughter came to stay one night with us too. It was very clean and the sheets were so soft and beds were comfy! The bottle of wine was a nice touch too. Nice area, we walked up to get coffee one morning and there are restaurants you can walk to. Renjena was a great host and answered any questions quickly. We will look into staying again next time we visit our daughter at college.

Cedar Rapids Treasure
There was a very bad storm right before our visit, but the property had been cleaned up and was very welcoming. The property was nicely situated near several restaurants within walking distance. The house itself feels like something out of a magazine. We spent many hours lounging around the house and could have easily done the same in the back yard. We loved it here and would definitely stay again if returning to the area.
