At an elevation of 1,800 feet, thirty-mile views are spectacular, including Lake Sonoma, Dry Creek Valley and Mount St Helena. The Estate home is surrounded by 20-acres of vineyard and 245 Tuscan Olive trees. Guests receive a complimentary bottle of Gustafson wine with their stay. Ultimate privacy, just a 30-minute drive to Healdsburg through Dry Creek Valley. We host weddings and special events up to 50 guests with an additional contract and fee.

This property is outstanding! The architectural elements are very special. The pool area and living room were highlights for us. Beds are comfortable and rooms well appointed. Kitchen was very well stocked and the property manager who welcomed us was very helpful and available. We hope to return.

We had a pleasant stay at the property over the Memorial Day weekend. It’s away from the crowds but yet 15 mins from Sonoma Lake for water sports and 30 mins from Healdsburg. Amazing view and great time in the pool.

It is a beautiful, well-designed home with incredible views...the hosts are amazing and utterly accommodating. They were available for recommendations in town, where to run and helpful when we had questions. They even ran to town and got us a meat thermometer for our thanksgiving prime rib! Truly the most kind hosts and it is a wonderful place. We will be back!

Beautiful house with breathtaking views. Amazing location in the mountains above Sonoma lake. Tons of great restaurants and fun things to do nearby. A true dream house and Glenn the property manager was the best, so attentive and helpful whenever we needed help with anything. We rent houses several times a year and this is definitely one of the best we’ve ever rented.

Words cannot describe this amazing house and property. The architecture is outstanding. We were on the go a lot but loved hanging around the house and enjoying the pool and incredible views. Host Glenn gave us the grand tour and was always there when we needed him.

Fantastic property! Beautiful, spacious home! Incredible design and well furnished. Immaculately clean and well maintained. Only 30 minutes to Healdsburg but feels very remote. Surrounded by vineyards. Property manager lives on the estate and made himself very available for orientation and any questions/concerns that might arise.

The most beautiful home and grounds. Th architecture is amazing. The kitchen had everything you could possibly want and more. Very comfortable beds. Spacious living areas and nooks to cozy into to read or nap. We all used the pool and hot tub everyday. We were three couples on a wine tasting trip. We spent all but one evening at the estate as none of us wanted to leave. Glenn, the property manager met us upon arrival and spent well over an hour touring the house and showing how to use everything. If we had any issues he was a phone text away with an answer. I would highly recommend this property and we are already planning on next year. It is a bit of a drive up but the views are worth it. My only complaint is that there are not enough towel bars to hang the linens from in the bathrooms. On our last morning we woke up to the beautiful fog that rolled it. Definitely a 5 star.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gustafson Family Vineyard estate. The home is beautifully situated with incredible views of the surrounding vineyards and hills. It was the perfect setting for a peaceful getaway. Glenn and the team were responsive and helpful throughout the booking process and stay. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially loved the outdoor spaces, the patio and views were stunning, and the property felt both private and welcoming

Absolutely gorgeous spot!

House was gorgeous, view was gorgeous, host was responsive and generous. Location not super close to things but vineyards and restaurants easily drivable. So much to do in the area but we were torn because the house was so amazing we did not want to leave!

Beautiful property with amazing views. Home was very well equipped for cooking, with the added benefit of a nice grill and an Oonie pizza grill. The pool is beautiful as is the setting. We were there in November and loved sitting by the fireplace in the living room. The hosts were great and readily available. We didn’t have a chance to play pickleball, but did enjoy a few rounds of bocce. This is a great place to stay with family and friends where you want to be in nature and do not mind a 20-30 minute drive to the town and wine tasting.

Wife Birthday Relaxation

Great stay at a unique high quality estate. This should have been out of our budget but it wasn’t, and we will never forget the weekend enjoyed at Dans estate. I was asked “how much did this cost?” And I said “ less than not doing it at all…”. Dan stopped by to give us a brief history and share his appreciation for the area, and my wife and her friends loved it! We hired a private chef, the kitchen is ready to go for all entertai I g needs, and enjoyed a nice dinner in the grand room. All in all this was, without a doubt, the most exclusive stay of our 20 year traveling history. Thank you Dan. Thanks you Glenn (caretaker) and we hope to see you again soon.

There truly aren’t words to express how much we loved our stay at this beautiful vineyard property. From the moment you pass through the gate, you feel transported to your own private paradise. Rolling hills covered in vineyards stretch out before you, and the house blends perfectly with the landscape, surrounded by a gorgeous garden.Glenn, the property manager, was wonderful — so friendly and helpful. He gave us a tour, shared his number, and made sure we had everything we needed. He also suggested watching the sunrise from the deck, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay.Inside, the house is warm and inviting, with huge windows that bring the outdoors in. Each bedroom was spacious and comfortable, with a king bed and beautiful bathroom. The master shower felt like a private spa!We spent hours on the deck and by the stunning pool, soaking up the magnificent views that sweep down over the vineyards and all the way to Lake Sonoma far below. It was the perfect place to unwind after visiting local wineries. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the pizza oven was a fun touch. Walking through the vineyards was a treat — just be ready for dusty shoes!The house was spotless, cozy, and the scenery was simply unforgettable. We all agreed it was a once-in-a-lifetime getaway. Highly recommend!

Our week at the Gustafson home with our friends, was one of the most wonderful vacations we have ever enjoyed. Nestled on a bluff 1850’ above Dry Creek Valley, we were delighted by peaceful solitude and extraordinary views. Every aspect of the design and construction of this home was clearly done with skill, insight and love. It is strikingly beautiful. There are views of the sunrise over the Dry Creek, Alexander and Napa valleys with Mt. St. Helena standing guard above them. From the hilltop picnic area or the pool patio, you look out over vineyards, mountain peaks and valleys to Lake Sonoma. At night, these areas provide star lit skies that were hypnotic. The home is in soulful harmony with nature. The furnishings and accessories left no gaps in wants or desires. It is as beautiful inside as outside. The beds are amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped. The pizza oven was so much fun to try out. Although I lost at Bocci Ball, it was due to lack of concentration, the fault of the mountain view painted across the end of the court. The pool and hot tub are wonderful. The electric cover keeps the heat in overnight, so the water temp was perfect. The chaise lounges are comfortable and perfect for naps and star gazing. The nearby washroom has a washer/dryer and shower. We were so fortunate that Dan was in town, and we were able to meet him and hear about the design and construction. Glenn, the site manager, was friendly and so helpful. PERFECT!

Beautiful, peaceful location and great for birdwatching

Gustafson Family Vineyards has a beautiful panoramic view which includes a bit of Lake Sonoma and is well worth the drive up the hill. The sunrises and sunsets are spectacular, and it was a treat to drink coffee in the morning on the deck watching the sunrise or having a glass of wine in the evening enjoying the sunset after a fun day of birdwatching. It is a gorgeous, peaceful place to spend a vacation. The house is large and unique with stone pillars, concrete floors, lots of windows, a bocce court, and a spacious deck overlooking the vineyards. The main living room has 2 walls of windows overlooking the vineyard and a fireplace which we used on a couple of nights. It was lovely to read a book by the fireplace surrounded by the view. The two bedrooms on the first floor are large with sliding glass doors, and their own bathrooms with showers. The landscaping is gorgeous, with lots of large succulents and rosemary bushes. The vineyard was great for birdwatching! The property has multiple types of habitats for birds, so that there is a large diversity of species. I saw approximately 20 species in the vineyard itself, and 8 of these were new lifetime birds! In fact, my favorite moments were sitting on the deck and watching the ravens and hawks fly BELOW us down into the vineyard. There is also great birding within 1-2 hours' drive, like Bodega Bay and Armstrong Redwoods. We had a wonderful time enjoying the scenery, house, vineyards, and birds at Gustafson Family Vineyards!

Our family of four, including our two teenage kids, stayed here for a few days and had a wonderful time. The house is absolutely beautiful, and the views are magnificent - if anything, the photos don’t do it justice. The home was spotless, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the pool and spent hours enjoying it every day. One evening we were even lucky enough to see a fox wander by, which made the experience even more memorable. A special thank you to Glenn, the property manager. He was incredibly friendly, gave us a tour of the property, and shared the fascinating history of the vineyard. We also appreciated the fresh flowers and thoughtful welcome card waiting for us upon arrival - such a lovely personal touch. We did encounter a small issue with the pool during our stay, but Glenn responded promptly and resolved it quickly. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would absolutely love to come back. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with stunning views.

What an incredible 4 days. We were staying here for our son's wedding at Trentadue Winery. This stunning, gorgeous home was just perfect! The surrounding property is beautifully maintained and everything so clean and organized and easily accessible. Glen, the property manager, was just so incredibly helpful and so easy to communicate with. All of our needs and more were met. My husband and I will definitely be back!

This property EXCEEDED every expectation. The wow factor when arriving was jaw dropping. Perched high above Sonoma's vineyards with sweeping views of Lake Sonoma, it was our own private luxury retreat. We were met in person at arrival and escorted into the home and given a brief tour to help us get settled. The home is beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and equipped with every amenity you could want. The 3BR and 3.5 BA were spacious and comfortable. Each room offered privacy so perfect for a family or even 3 couples on a trip. Every room seemed to capture the incredible scenery. Waking up to the vineyard-covered hills and watching the sunset over the the hills from the pool was stunning.This property offers complete, gated privacy while still being close enough (25 min drive down the mountain) to enjoy Sonoma's world-class wineries, restaurants, and attractions. We enjoyed a morning coffee on the deck overlooking the private vineyard, pickle ball midday, bocce ball before dinner and a glass of wine under the stars. Every moment felt special.Using this property as home base we explored the Russian River valley on bike, the Dry Creek valley for wine tastings and participated in a gorgeous farm/vineyard tour of Jordan Winery with a wine paired exquisite lunch atop a hill. If you're looking for a truly exceptional wine country experience, this property delivers. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxury Sonoma getaway.

This is a fantastic place! The house is beautifully designed and furnished. It is located in a vineyard and has amazing views of the countryside around it. The pool and hot tub are kept very clean and are a delight to use. The kitchen is well stocked and has everything you might need.Glenn — the care taker of the property makes himself very available for any needs or questions. He is warm, welcoming and helpful.
