"This property was unique as it had a winery right on property with so many activities such as, line dancing. The food and drinks were excellent. The house was impeccable and beautifully decorated. The property is large and beautifully kept. You can tell this is a special property for the owners. Also, the staff was friendly and very attentive , I highly recommend this B&B whether it’s for a romantic getaway or any type of an event."

"Room and hotel was very nice. Also the staff was friendly. Only small minus on our stay was the breakfast but perhaps it was also fault on our side as we were the last ones there and the breakfast closed quite early which we missed."

"The breakfast menu was awesome. Amanda is an amazing cook ! I stayed at the Amberson House for 3 nights and was very happy about my experience there. The house its self is a beatiful old home and funished beautifully wth antiques . Everone was very welcoming and friendly. "

"The overall experience was amazing. The view while playing a round of golf was breathtaking, its close to Gettysburg (real reason for stay, and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub after a day of sightseeing as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and were right on any issue we had or found. I will definitely want to stay again!"

"The rooms at the front of the property were near the highway. The street noise made it difficult to sleep or even relax. I was booked for 2 nights and when I asked to check out after one night, the manager quickly changed my room so it was quieter. He was concerned that I wouod not find alternative accomadations over the holiday weekend and at the last minute."

"Found 3 cockroaches in the room ! I have stayed at the red horse a number of times when visiting Frederick MD. But this time I woke up to find 3 cockroaches in the bathroom. The place is getting a little run down. The drapes had holes in them and the bathroom tile had cracks. The low flow shower and faucet aren't to good. The air conditioning works really good."
