The room was clean, the bed comfortable (a lighter duvet would have been a bonus as the room was very warm and that was with the heating off and windows open).
If you fancy climbing a Munro, Schiehallion is about 15 minutes from the hotel to the car park.
Can't fault it and would stay again.

"We had room no 1. The noise from the main road is extreme so you must secure your room will be on the back side.
The breakfast is fine, but the food in the evening was from the taste and from the look not good, would not eat there again.
The people are very friendly a d they do the best they can."

"All aspects of the hotel were very good, all rooms were pleasingly decorated and as you would wish in a traditional highland hotel, even down to some whisky in the room. We requested a front room and this was provided. Great cooking. "

"Excellent location for a short stay. We stayed in the maxwells which were very comfortable with all the right facilities. My only suggestion would be to provide split bins for waste and recycling (landfill / plastic and tins) along with a tub for compostable waste. "

When we arrived we were informed the restaurant was closed (it’s apparently closed twice a week) and all shops in the town closed. Nothing would open until 9am the next day and the hotel does not offer breakfast. Very surprised that an expensive hotel like this does not offer a better service. This was quite a problem for us (we have small kids), would have been great to know this in advance. That being said I could...
