"This was my second stay at this hotel, and it once again exceeded my expectations. It was our favourite hotel of the summer and a place I would happily return to again.
Everything was excellent - the atmosphere, the surroundings, the facilities and the friendly staff all contributed to a wonderful stay. My children and I had a fantastic time, and the hotel is perfect for families looking to relax.
The only small suggestion is to let guests know in advance that the tennis court requires you to...

"In generel, nice staff. Our room however had linning on the bed that was soaking wet, not damp.. wet. Reception promised to send someone, but noone came. We dried the sheets ourselves instead.
Also be aware that the hotel is popular with families with small children, making the pool area crowded, and the noise level in the restaurant unbearable.
Children sneezing in the buffet, and drumming loudly on the table is not a favorite of ours anymore.
We simply expected, a more calm place."

"I booked this hotel for my parents and they were very happy with their stay. They were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.
They were pleasantly overwhelmed by the variety of items at their breakfast buffet.
They wanted to stay longer but had other places pre-booked.
They would stay here again for future visits.
Thank you again to the staff of Belem Hotel"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was perfect, from the comfort of the rooms to the breakfast. We took the option to have dinner at the venue. It was truly one of the highlights of our stay. Everything is bio and comes from their own land.
The peacefulness of the location just right at the river was another magical experience. Perfect to swim in the lake, paddle, or even for a boat ride.
Tomar or Coimbra is just 30 min drive and provides the option for a nice day trip.

"Very serviceminded staff indeed. Did go the extra mile to assist us. Apparently we were the first Danish guest for some time. Our recommendation is that this should not be the case for the future. Perfectly located between Lissabon and Porto, and it is great to get a feeling for the countryside without too many tourists. Plus a visit to one of the river beaches is always interesting. Ask the hotel for guidance."
