I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing get away with kids. Has everything you need."

"Nice place. We cooked meals inside on the stove but also over a fire at the fire pit. There is a small creek behind the cabin that runs when it rains out. That was pretty cool. No nearby light pollution so the sky is really dark at night and you can see a lot of stars. Overall a great experience. Two wineries close by. It's on the wine trail. Close to everything in Southern Illinois. We went to all the state parks."

"My group stayed for 4 nights and everyone was so impressed with this place. It's way bigger than we thought and incredibly well appointed! A whole shed with all the lake toys you need and they thought of everything inside the house as well. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed to lake. We also explored local towns and restaurants. We'll definitely make this our goto when visiting Lake of Egypt."
