"We had a very warm informative welcome. The room was at the back which helped it be quieter when the private parties could be loud when they were on in the function room. It looks as if some updating is happening and needs new window frames and closers. The bed was comfy. Hospitality tray was great. In the bar the staff were great. You were served quickly and they kept the bar tidy. They were very friendly. We had bar sharing plate snack which was amazing. We didn’t have breakfast as not...

"Very friendly rooms above pub slap bang in the main street. Pretty laid back and jiust came and went as we pleased. Cat and all the staff were very friendly and helpful to us. Bar was great for a few drinks and the town is great with friendly people everywhere. Big bonus was Vale of Leithen won :-)"
"We decided to stay overnight at The Juniperlea Inn on our way to Edinburgh. This place is only a 30-minute drive from the city center. The room was excellent, the food delicious, and the staff lovely.
We will definitely consider staying there again when visiting Edinburgh. "
"Great staff. Very accommodating especially sorting a disabled shower seat and toilet handles for my disabled father in law. Beds very comfortable. Rooms immaculate. Breakfast great. Will definitely return. "
"There was no one at the desk. Self check in via the hotel email. Room was on 2nd floor up two flights of winding stairs not easy to maneuver with luggage. Limited food at the hotel. Did have free parking. Very old building not handicap accessible. Room was a good size and comfortable. Bathroom was very small couldn’t open the door all the way. Not recommended for older people or anyone who can’t do stairs."
"Not much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The view from our room (and even the toilet!) was one of the grand memories of our trip. Parking was in an enclosed area and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. You won't go wrong here!"

"I very much enjoyed my stay at the Abbey Residence. The highlight of it all is of course the people. Hosts insisted on doing anything in their power to make your stay exceptional. All the advice on how to plan the stay and sightseeing in Edinburgh or in other areas made the experience much more easier and relaxed and very comfortable. It's not like it's ideal place on Earth, it's close to one of the main streets in the area so if you're sensitive to noise just remember your earplugs. I very much hope to be back sooner than later. Thanks for the lovely time!"
