Spread over two levels, the accommodation opens into a bright and finely furnished living area, featuring a cozy lounge with a corner sofa and TV, and a modern open-plan kitchen with an island, equipped with everything needed to cook just like at home. The elegant dark-toned decor and the beamed attic ceiling lend a warm and refined touch to the environment, enhanced by delicate, soft lighting. Two large French doors lead to the panoramic terrace, where the view over the lake and surrounding mountains creates an ideal setting for peaceful moments, accompanied by the gentle lake breeze. The sleeping area, located on the upper floor, includes two double bedrooms with spacious wardrobes to organize your belongings. Both rooms open onto a bright relaxation area with large sliding windows – perfect for reading, listening to music, or enjoying the calm atmosphere, with an enchanting view over the lake and the rooftops of the village. The property also includes two bathrooms – one on each floor – both with a shower and a private washing machine, to ensure maximum comfort during your stay.

Carate Urio is located on the western shore of the Como branch of Lake Como. This charming village has preserved its old-world charm, with cobbled alleys, Moltrasio stone staircases, historic houses overlooking the water, and elegant period villas nestled in greenery. The apartment is located in the hamlet of Cavadino, along the beautiful Via Verde, a 7 km panoramic walking path that winds through the hidden corners of villages from Tosnacco (part of Moltrasio) to Laglio. Cavadino is about a 15-minute walk from the lakefront and from two renowned local dining spots: the Millesimo bistro – perfect for an aperitif or informal dinner with a view – and the fine Acquadolce restaurant, ideal for a top culinary experience. Just a few minutes' walk away along the lake is the boat stop connecting Carate Urio to Como and other enchanting towns on Lake Como, such as Torno, Argegno, and Menaggio. The town borders the famous villages of Laglio and Moltrasio and is just a 10-minute drive from Cernobbio, known for its elegant lakeside promenade and historic luxury hotels. The city of Como, with all major services, is about a 20-minute drive away. Thanks to its proximity to Switzerland, Carate Urio is also an ideal base for short cross-border trips: the customs checkpoints of Chiasso and Pizzamiglio can be reached in about 15 minutes, offering easy access to nearby Ticino.

How to get there:

By car, from the A9 motorway take the "Lago di Como" exit and continue along Via Regina, joining the SS340. With the help of a GPS, you’ll reach the property in about 10 minutes.

By train, from Como Lago or Como S. Giovanni stations, take bus C10 and get off at the “Urio - Ponte” stop, which is about a 5-minute walk from the apartment.
