"Loved it here! Close to everything, yet quiet and the beautiful landscape provided much needed shade after a day of surfing. The staff was very accommodating and even allowed us early check in after taking a red eye. Would definitely stay here again. "

"The staff were attentive and very helpful, and having a private pool was definitely a plus. Parking, however, could have been a better experience. Our balcony was shared with three other rooms, which was fine, but I would have preferred it to be more secluded. The property also shares the beach, and unfortunately it felt a bit dirty and messy at times."

"Highly recommend The Retreat hotel! It was gorgeous and the views breath taking. The staff was very attentive and kind. Will definitely go again. The tours were over priced though. ~400 per tour and while the locations were beautiful it was not worth that much money. Also note there is no food you can buy except for in the restaurants there. So grab some snack at the airport. But highly recommend this place. Even in the rainy season it was amazing "

The condo was everything that we wanted to celebrate in for our 50th birthday, there was even a surprise birthday basket for me, and my sister. Paula, the host, had immediate communication with me. Everything was very calm and relaxing, staff were friendly and helpful in keeping our room clean as well as providing options for excursions, and the property was beautiful. We’re so glad we stayed and I can’t recommend it more!"
