Island Escape - Luxury Captiva Island Home w/Pool + Hot Tub near Beach

  • Designed to be an escape from the ordinary, “Island Escape” is a culmination of everything you think of when you dream of the perfect island vacation getaway. Completed in 2015, this house is immaculately designed and decorated, with no detail forgotten. It is steps from the beach and in the golf cart zone of the island. The spacious bedrooms and spa-like bathrooms make every guest feel like they are at a luxury resort. The large heated pool with spill over hot tub are perfect for entertaining your family and friends. Island Escape features over 4.000 sq. ft of space in total with 3 bedrooms on the main level and 2 bedrooms on the top level. There is 1 master bedroom (king) with en-suite full bathroom with double vanities, walk-in shower, and oversized tub on the main level. The other 2 bedrooms on the main level share a “jack and jill” full bath. This area was designed as the kids/nanny or teenager area in mind. One room has a beautiful custom bunk room system with 1 king and 5 twins and the room across the hall has 1 king in it. These rooms share a full bath with double vanities and walk-in shower. The top level has 2 master bedrooms (king in each) with en-suite bathrooms with double vanities. The owners suite also features an oversized bathtub and a massage chair. The other master on this level also has a bunk bed (twin over twin) for any couples with little ones who don’t want to be too far away. The main level also features a work area, 1/2 bath, laundry room, dining table, living room, and state of the art kitchen. A stunning sun room is off the kitchen with more seating and steps leading down to the pool. The ground level features a fun gaming area including Golden Tee and an arcade with 1000+ games and a lego wall for the little kids. The outside is your own personal mini resort featuring: heated pool, spill over hot tub, putting green, pool table, ping pong, corn hole boards, shuffleboard, hanging egg chairs, and a grill island. The house is a 3 minute walk to the beach access. This private oasis also comes complete with beach gear and a vending machine for items you may have forgot! New addition….the new owners added an elevator! Now all 3 levels can be accessed without steps! Once you stay at Island Escape, you will never want to rent another home again.

    ***The elevators are currently functional; however, as they are mechanical items, we cannot guarantee they will remain operational during your stay. Please note that refunds will not be issued in the event of elevator malfunctions.***

Overall great stay at a great location! If I were to look for something to give feedback, all of the amenities worked and some were not fixed during the stay but hard to complain with so many amenities!

Layout was perfect for large group. Pool was a hit with basketball hoop and spa and outdoor amenities fantastic. We enjoyed the daily visits if the iguanas, harmless but fascinating to watch. Even had a 95 year old do video games and ping pong! Great location for walking to everything.

Beautiful house, great location! The house itself was amazing, spacious/comfortable rooms. The pool and patio was so fun, stocked with Tim’s of outdoor games. Highly recommend!

Great for families

They literally thought of everything with this house. Our family of 15 felt so comfortable here. It was also in a perfect location to the beach, stores, and restaurants. There is so much to do inside and outside the house. We would love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay. The house was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need. It was super clean and had a ton of space. My kids loved the video games and shuffle board. It was a short walk to the beach and all restaurants. This was our first time back since the hurricanes. We plan to return again next year. Loved it!!!!

This property has all the amenities and is perfect for families. Our family was never bored. There are endless games and the pool area is amazing with the perfect amount of shade. Great home for families

We had a group of nine ranging in ages from 6 to 70 and this house was perfect for all. Beautiful and clean. We especially enjoyed Leroy the Iguana making his surprise appearances every morning!

Beautiful Property ~ Wonderful Week in Paradise!

Celebrated our family Christmas on Captiva Island this year and had a wonderful stay at Island Escape! This home offers so much...no one could ever be bored! The proximity to the beach, all the outdoor activities around the pool and the comfortable beds and living areas inside come together to make Island Escape hard to beat! A+++! We will be back!

This property had everything we needed - it felt very fresh and brand new. There were over 10 of us here for a week and it never felt crowded. Our kids kept themselves busy on the putting green, the arcade games, ping pong, pool table and ofc the pool. The amenities were plentiful. Thank you to the owners for creating a piece of paradise for spring break this year!

Something for everyone

Our family, children, spouses and grandchildren all found something they enjoyed doing at this beautiful home. Lots of laughter in the pool, playing video games, or reading quietly on the screen porch. We’ve added another puzzle to the already good assortment.

This house was perfect had everything you could possibly need. Very close to the beach, could not have asked for a better house, so many games for the teens and adult kids. The owners thought of everything for this house, my favorite thing was the crushed ice machine in the garage! This island is beautiful and picture perfect, only draw back is the noseeum bugs, be sure to bring bug spray when visiting the island

Very responsive hosts, great size and location

This was our second stay at this property. The size is perfect for our extended family of 15. It's in a great location, within walking distance to the beach, the green flash, and the shops along Andy Rosse. Nice to see so many things reopened and definitely many more visitors than last year. We were visited every day by several iguanas. We did have some maintenance issues come up but the hosts were responsive and helped as soon as possible.

Amazing stay at Island Escape

This property was way above our expectations! Our family of 11, 8 adults, 2 children (8 and 6) and 1 infant. There were so many things to do on property for both adults and kids, with arcade games, ping pong, pool, foosball, golf green, and much more!! The house was decorated beautifully and had everything that you would need. The garage was full of rafts, beach chairs, wagons, bikes, boogie boards and located about 2 blocks from the beach! This house was our favorite by far for a family vacation!

Can't wait to come back

The property is spacious, the house allowed us to have 15 people together easily without feeling cramped. There were also plenty of activities to keep all ages entertained at the house and only a short walk to the beach and the stores/restaurants/activities along Andy Rosse Lane. I think we were among the first groups to stay here after hurricane closures and the elevator and some of the arcade games were still out of order, but the state of the place was otherwise great. Still lots of cleaning and rebuilding going on all around us, so we didn't have too many neighbors during our stay. We'll definitely be back!

Awesome vacation!!

This house was amazing!! Plenty of room for our extended family of 16. They thought of everything. There was so much for everyone to do at the house. Many Golden Tee games were played as well as corn hole, ping pong, pool and shuffleboard. The swimming pool was great and we spent most days in it. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get the hot tub to heat up. The only thing they didn’t have was a bathroom on the entry level near the pool.

Family vacay

We took our three grown kids, their spouses, and three grandkids for a week at the beach. We had always vacationed at south seas plantation when the kids were younger. It was great to take my grandkids back. The house is incredible. Very well outfitted. Very spacious. Lovely. We will definitely return.
