Snorkeling out back was challenging with a hurricane in the Pacific (waves were very kicked up, the surfers loved it), but we did get out the last few days and it was amazing. "Easily the best VRBO experience we've ever had. The property is super clean and well equipped; the rate is reasonable for Hawaii and less than 10 minutes from shopping in Kona. "This rental unit could not have been more perfect for our group. It was roomy enough to fit our group of 9 and not feel cramped at all. Very well appointed as we prepared most of our meals at the house. The views from the lanai's are spectacular, especially the sunsets. The snorkeling across the street at Kahalu'u Beach Park was the best of all the places we swam. The house is conveniently located with easy access to several markets and grocery stores.The owners were wonderful to work with....

"The house was absolutely amazing. All ten of us had plenty of space. The view was stunning. The only thing I can say that was misleading was the references to proximity to locations in Kailua- Kona in the listing. It turns out we much preferred it’s true location up the hill away from the bustle of town. It was so beautiful. I am glad it was not a short walk to Taco Bell as stated in the listing."
