"Vi læste om hotellet inden vi ankom til Tropea, men valgte ikke at booke noget på forhånd. Vi gik forbi for at se på faciliteterne og Rocco bød os velkommen på trappen. Kort efter havde vi hilst på nærmest hele personalet og blev vist rundt både i poolområdet, morgenmadsområdet og så et værelse. Vi bookede en nat til at starte med, men endte med at bo der fire nætter med ønsket om flere. Fantastisk imødekommende, smilende og søde medarbejdere hele vejen rundt. "The rooms were amazing. We had an outstanding view. I could watch the stunning sunset every night. The breakfast provided was cooked to perfection. Very walkable to some delicious restaurants. "

"We slept two nights at the hotel. The first night we slept in a room with mould around the ventilation (we noticed it in the morning) which left us feeling sick and with headache the day after. Moreover, there were noises coming from the building almost every minuts the whole day and night. We got a new room at the second day, but the noises were the same. The pool area was nice, but both toilets were without toilet paper and the guy fixing the garden used his machines several times and made...

"My family and I (husband and teen daughter) had a fantastic stay in June. We were given such warm and welcoming hospitality. Highly recommend Villa II Barone and the beautiful town of Tropea. It was our favourite place in Italy. "

"It is an old convent, still partially in use? Right on the water, awesome, rustic for sure. Dont expect hotel chain experience, this stay is about the awesome staff, great locationnand quiet , clean place. Very unique."
