La Fundición de Alcora is an 18th-century estate steeped in history, located in the heart of the Alpujarra, just 40 minutes from the city of Almería and 1.5 hours from Granada. It’s the perfect place to escape city life and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Thanks to its fantastic location and facilities, you can perfectly combine nature, sightseeing, and relaxation. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its expansive olive grove or unwind in its cozy living room with a fireplace. It’s also a fantastic spot for stargazing; in recent years, the Canjáyar Astronomy Days have been held here. The house has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, as well as 2 spacious living rooms with fireplaces, a fully equipped kitchen, a front porch, and a backyard vegetable garden so you can make the most of your time both inside and outside the house. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, making it perfect for a few days of remote work combined with time in nature. La Fundición de Alcora spans over 4 hectares of land, including landscaped areas, fruit trees, a vegetable garden, and an olive grove. We also provide a barbecue, tables, and chairs so you can enjoy your meals wherever and however you like. It’s ideal for families, as we have a wide selection of board games. In winter, the fireplace is set up and stocked with enough firewood to last your entire stay. We’ll be happy to recommend the most interesting activities and things to do in the area: hiking trails, bike rides, visits to a winery or olive oil mill, flamenco performances, and more. La Fundición de Alcora is a private property used primarily by our family. We are delighted to share it with our guests and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
