"It was amazing seeing all the different birds from their restaurant patio. I saw way more kinds of birds including two tucans from here than from the actual birds watching tours. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Nice city view too. "

Also Fran, the chef ordered up ideas, and took suggestions and recommendations for the food... Fran was excellent i wouldn't stay for 5 days and 4 nights a little long...."

"Chef Fran was truly a fantastic cook. The meals were the best we had all of our two weeks of travel in Costa Rica. The location was beautiful and so was the architecture. We felt a bit constrained by the three meals being included in the price of our room. Other than that, everything about the hotel was phenomenal."

"Tami lodge is located in a beautiful place far from civilization. We stayed in a glamping tent style that has a lovely shower and two comfortable beds. It was slightly cool at night which I loved because it made it easy to sleep. We needed to cancel the second night because we rescheduled our flight and we got our money back, no questions asked. I highly recommend this place. "

"We stayed a week, and we are so glad we did! We were the only overnight guests most nights, but the resort has a big local following for user of their facilities. The pools and grounds are pristine. The cabin was spotless. The grounds are well kept. There are birds every where in the morning. The free breakfast was hot, big, and delicious (they even accommodated my dietary restrictions and my picky kids). And the service? Fabulous! We were quite literally adopted into the family during our stay....

The bedroom does not have glass windows one night was a little bit warm, so please take that into consideration but overall we loved the concept. Keep in mind there's also a huge construction boom in Costa Rica so there is some street noise, can't see it, but sometimes you can hear it"
