Head 7 miles out to Tintagel on the coast, where you can wander the castle and see the cave that feature in the colourful legends of King Arthur. Pick up the scenic South West Coast Path close by and follow it along the cliffs. Plan a day out to Padstow, 18 miles away, to potter in the shops and galleries and dine out in one of its famous seafood restaurants.
