"Nice little Hotel. I normally stay IHG, but the Holiday Inn in Clinton does not allow pets. Booked here, not knowing what I was gonna find, but I was pleasantly surprised!!! I was able to get a room that had a whole separate bedroom from the living area, which is a must when you have a dog, that will bark at the wind. Keeps them away from the front entry and all the noises. TVs could use an upgrade, but the internet was good...if you are a gamer. Would stay here again with no hesitation!!! Oh...

"Booked thru Expedia at right under $200/2 nights. Check-in-went very smooth. The first room was dirty & this type of neglect is on purpose; to allow anyone but a cleaner to enter it, was offensive. There were spiders in the bathtub, questionable stains on pillow cases, walls, and curtains, dirt/dust gathered throughout. The beds were very much soiled, can’t remember if they had mattress covers. Very nice bedside lights, with addtl light for night reading (good idea), if you could muster the guts...

"We chose this place as a last minute one night stay. That being the case it was OK. It had almost equal points on the OK and Good side. On the good side, our room looked to be recently renovated. The paint, fixtures, bed, etc all seemed to have been done recently. There were however a few things that were missing, There was an ironing board but no iron, no hair dryer though it was mentioned as an amenity, and a light bulb was missing from the vanity light fixture. "Staff and room were great. My only concern is the difficulty opening the door from the stairwell to the second floor. The door dragged on the carpet and was extremely hard to push/pull open. In an emergency this could be disastrous. I don’t know about the other doors, but I expect the same problem exists."
