"Bill was a very good host, helpful and interesting but not intrusive in any way so our stay was very peaceful in a green setting. The accommodation is very well equipped and the food provisions for breakfast excellent and including local products. Visitors have to be aware that the nearest town of several, Madoc, is 25km away but has all one could wish. "

"The room was beautiful, giant king bed in own bedroom, nice big jetted tub in bathroom and everything u needed in the kitchen to cook your own meals and keep from eating out. Balcony was nice. 5 to 6 minute walk to parliament hill and 10 minutes to rideau mall. Only bad thing i csn say is mornings can be loud with garbage trucks."

"This is a beautiful gem. I am extremely fussy and this unit did not disappoint. The apartment was very clean and beautifully decorated. Supplies and dishes needed in the kitchen were spectacular as well as anything you could think of that you would need in the washroom. The host (Janeen) was outstanding and extremely friendly. "This was the perfect spot for a winter family weekend. Two hour drive for those of us coming from Ottawa and 3 hours for those from Hamilton. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It was nice that there was a bedroom and bathroom on each floor. It allowed everyone to have their own space. The kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a regular coffee maker, we brought coffee, but not Kreurig pods and not everyone got coffee on the last day. "The location of the cottage is great. Stayed with our family and friends. Contains 2 renovated clean bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. The place has a lot of cons. "The weather was cool and there was no wind during our stay. This made for perfect kayak and paddleboard weather: so many little islands to paddle around plus observing the loon family, kingfishers, grey heron, osprey and mink.
