"Very clean, very large and well appointed room. Very quiet with really comfortable bed. Shower and bath very clean. Breakfast was very good with many choices set out in a beautiful room. The hotel is in a historic building, with new addition for rooms, right across from Sutter's Fort State Historic Park in center Sacramento. Good place to walk with lots of shade trees. Nearby there are many options for eating. The state capitol with lovely gardens is very close. There is street parking nearby....

"The staff was helpful and the lady working the breakfast bar was beyond helpful and very welcoming. The room and “amenities” were not that great. The room itself was not the cleanest and the bathroom door is awkward and annoying, it’s a sliding door that doesn’t close all the way so you can hear whoever is in the bathroom at all times. Having to pay for parking each day is a joke considering it’s in a bad looking area, and not guarded. Parking used to be free and was a major let down. "

We came on a busy weekend (friday-sunday) with a large concert taking place at the city stadium. We still just payed an average price for this top end hotel with an excellent location. We paid for parkingservice at booking and it was worth it. Thre staffmembers are situated outside the hotel around the clock to help with car and luggage."

It’s very very close like 1 mile our window in our room did not shut and lock so that was a concern of mine, but fortunately nothing happened. "
