"Absolutely 5 star service the entire time we were here. Here’s an example…while we were at the pool they had to close the hot tub for 10 minutes for maintenance. After doing so, the housekeeping staff brought all the kids at the pool a bag of snacks to say thank you for their patience. Front desk and restaurant staff were great too, and the weekend breakfast buffet was awesome."

"Its in more of a shopping area than a conventional hotel location. Its nice its not located directly on LRT route so vagrancy and safety issues arent a concern. "

The accessibility of the "accessible room" is questionable. The toliet grab bar is not angled, the shower is not a roll-in shower, the shower bench offered was not a transfer bench so a wheelchair person can't use it, our wheelchair person had no bathing facilities for our stay. The bed was too high to safely transfer themselves on and off, so our wheelchair person slept sitting up in the arm chair. Other than finding the accessible options...

"Parking was difficult in the back with the rain. Birds or animals got in the garbage and made a mess. Hotel was quiet and location convenient. Free continental breakfast was good on a daily basis. Check in staff was very nice. Rear parking was a little dark."

"Absolutely LOVED the pool. The water was warm and the slide was so much fun (it's a fast one!). While it wasn't downtown and we weren't sure about the area when we arrived, it was a quick drive to the Zoo and the Chinook mall and we felt safe. Zero complaints, we would stay here again for sure."

"My aunt’s necklace diamond pendant accidentally fell off the sink. My aunt has spoken the front desk and requested an assistance from the maintenance/plumber. That was about 7:30 am,
the guys from the maintenance came after maybe an hour, which was just perfect after we had our breakfast, filipino maintenance guys were able
to open the pipe and found my aunt’s diamond necklace! She was sooo happy and appreciated those guys so much!"

"I was quite impressed with the Calgary Marriot Downtown Hotel.
Getting to the hotel was quite easy. I used the valet parking, this was very convenient.
Once in the hotel the staff at the reception desk were fantastic. They were very helpful when we needed extra blankets and a microwave. The service was spot on. We requested an extra blanket and a microwave at the reception, by the time we got to our room both items were there.
There is a Milstones restaurant on site as well as a Starbucks. ...
