"I thought it was great for the price. Friendly staff, clean room. It was a little tough to find. The light on the motel 6 sign in the driveway was burnt out so I drove right by. I did notice the pool was empty but I wasn’t planning on swimming so I didn’t care. Basically a good hotel if you are looking for a clean, quiet room for the night. "

"Cool retro hotel with modern amenities.
Front desk guy was fantastic; he was friendly and informative upon check in. When we discovered that our tv wasn’t working he quickly moved us into a larger suite at no extra charge.

"The Chrysalis was a great hotel and location as our family gathered for a wedding in July. The wedding was on the Schooner Zodiac which is docked near the Chrysalis. The hotel provided family dinner and brunch before and after the wedding. The setting for the meals was lovely - indoor as well as outdoor options for seating, with views of Bellingham Bay. The out of town guests were in awe of the beauty of the PNW. "

The front desk and breakfast personnel were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. The location is OK, but a bit hard to find (tucked behind other buildings) and on a busy street. Internet was good."
