    . Tæt på Snowdonia Nationalpark og en 20-minutters kørsel til Snowdon selv, har disse tre rummelige, attraktive og komfortable staldkonverteringer en fantastisk udsigt over det smukke landskab. Feriehytterne (ref. OZ3, OZ4 og OZ5) ligger kun få meter væk fra Wales Coast Path, som fører til en dejlig sandstrand med små sten, mens de giver vidunderlige fugleobservationsmuligheder på vej. Foryd Bay, hvor ejendommene ligger, er en udpeget RSPB Lapwing-reserve og et sted med særlig videnskabelig interesse. Inden for nem kørselsafstand er der et utal af spændende aktiviteter, herunder mountainbiking, surfing, sejlsport, fremragende vandreture, ridning og golf. Ejendommene er også bekvemt placeret for Zip World.
    Caernarfon, med sin storslåede borg, og et fint udvalg af butikker, restauranter og pubber ligger kun 4 miles væk og er også starten på den walisiske Highland Railway for naturskønne rejser ind i hjertet af Snowdonia. Tai Coch Chatham er et perfekt sted for afslappende vinterflyvninger og sommer strandferie. Butik og restaurant 2½ miles, pub, der serverer mad 1 mil (sæsonåben).

Enjoyable stay, great and accommodative host

Mr Edwards was there to welcome us when we arrived. House is clean and met all our expectations. We had a wonderful time exploring the local Caernarfon area, Snowdon Rail journey and even Halen Mon at Anglesey.

We had a lovely time here, the property was spacious, especially the kitchen and it was well equipped. The outside space too was again spacious and well resourced. The cottage had a lovely character to it and it was half an hour walk to the nearest beach. The owners were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. There are plenty of attractions within a short drive from the property. Equally one could spend quality time just in the cottage.

An excellently appointed property, in a beautiful area.

Four of us stayed in the property recently for a beautiful week's weather. We were very fortunate! The property was immaculately clean and all communication with the owner, both beforehand and during the stay was excellent. There is a view of Snowdon from the car parking space! The property is extremely well appointed with everything you could need for a large family. Unfortunately the local pub was closed for food during our stay for a refurb, and there were no other local eateries but eating al fresco in the very pleasant quiet outside garden area was most enjoyable. The only slight issue was that the floorboards are very creaky and our friends who were sleeping directly below our bedroom, had to move to the single beds on the ground floor as every step above was disturbing to them. There are 2 other 1 bed properties adjoining with their own outside space and we were not disturbed at all by them. We walked from the property to the coast and there is easy access to many other beautiful places, especially Caernarfon, Harlech, Nefyn, Criccieth and of course Anglesey. Do visit this lovely area - it is outstanding. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Amazing Break in Beautiful Cottage

Clean and comfortable, well laid out accommodation with lots of little luxury touches. Bath salts and high quality toiletries and washing up products. Kitchen was fully equipped and a great space to bring the family together to eat and chat and plan our day trips. Plenty of tea towels, airer, pegs etc and a great welcome pack including Lavazza coffee and Welsh tea cakes. Living room was great for board games and relaxing on big sofas after long walks. The bath was SO good! Deep and long perfect for a soak after our Snowdon adventure! Bedrooms were well laid out and the most comfortable mattress and bedding I’ve ever slept on, we all commented on how well we slept. The character of this cottage welcomes you in and sets you up for a well equipped and situated, relaxing break, we felt at home so quickly. 20 mins walk to the beach with the dog in the mornings or a 7 minute drive for fish and chips or pancakes at Dinas Dinelle. The big enclosed garden was perfect for the dog and for tiring out kids in the evening before bed. Lovely garden furniture for sipping a beer in the sun. All in all one of the best cottages we’ve stayed in as a family of 6 and 1 dog, lots of space to spread out and enjoy quiet time as well as space for a big family games night. Floorboards a little bit creaky but added to the endearing character. The owners Arwyn and Viv were so lovely and incredibly helpful with local knowledge. Definitely recommend Tai Cai.

We've stayed in a few cottages in West Wales, and Ty Cai is by far the best.

We've stayed in a few cottages in West Wales, and Ty Cai is by far the best. The owner is an excellent host and the welcome basket with the bottle of wine and the Welsh beer were a lovely touch. The cottage was excellently kept and spotlessly clean, and very spacious indeed. Beds are normally a bit hit and miss in holiday cottages but the beds in Ty Cai were top quality and we all slept like logs. We'll definitely be paying it a return visit and would recommend it highly.

This cottage is an absolute gem...perfect location, very well equipped, gorgeous garden, comfy beds and helpful and friendly owners. We loved every minute of our stay and were really impressed with the welcome pack and all the other attention to detail. I’m sure we will be back for another visit.

It was a stunning cottage in a beautiful location, The owner of the cottage is great, and really helpful. I cant recommend this place highly enough! P.s Well done for running up Snowdon in the blistering heat on Friday! You put us all to shame ?

Ty Cai was a wonderful base for our holiday. The cottage itself is spacious, well equipped and idea for sharing with friends and family. Everything provided was of high quality - from the welcome basket to toiletries - which added a little luxury to the holiday. The owners were welcoming, informative and had provided local guide books which ensured we could settle into staying into the area quickly. The location was great for enjoying both the local beach, Welsh coast and Snowdonia. We would definitely return to this property if we were staying in the area again.

Brilliant week for our group of 8 with children ranging from 3-8. Loads to do within 30mins drive as well as closer with Caernarfon on the door step. Excellent beach at Dinas Dinlle that has a little cafe and toilets. As for the house it had everything we could have asked for and the owner was very helpful and helped with recommendations and sorted the BBQ out for us to have one on our final night. Our kids loved the garden and we hope to return again in the future.

Our second stay at the cottage was again a pleasure. Hosts were friendly, welcoming and helpful. The cottage is very spacious and very well maintained. Nice touch with basics of tea, coffee, cheese and eggs and a bottle of wine for us on arrival. The garden is child friendly and very peaceful. Sure we will be back again!

This is a superb property, very well appointed.

This is a superb property, very well appointed. Excellent bathrooms and kitchen with good equipment. Perfect for our family of four plus large mastiff puppy who could be confined to kitchen, outside decking and paddock. NB this property is very rural, not walkable to any conveniences (but walkable to a good beach.) Highly recommended.

We had fab time at this spacious and comfortable cottage and Mr Edwards was very welcoming and helpful. There was a welcome box including wine, fruit loaf and eggs which was very kind! There were 6 of us in the group ranging from 18 to 82 years old. Everyone found the cottage really wonderful. The outside decked balcony and chairs catch the sun, the two showers were hot and powerful, the large kitchen/dining area meant we could all chill out together while cooking, the first evening was cold outside so we fired up the wood burner and soon felt cosy. We had some keen runners and cyclists in the group and the cottage is well placed to cycle into the mountains or down the peninsula or if you're less energetic, to the local Dinas Dinlle beach which is beautiful and flat! We had days out in Anglesey at the Nature reserve and the Newborough beach, tried the Mountain railway up Snowdon, climbed Snowdon on foot another day, various other walks around Bedgelert, went to the Fforest Coaster Zip World which was great value and faster than you might expect. At the end of each day the cottage was lovely to come back to and the beds were very comfortable, made even more welcoming by the chocolates on arrival and a basket full of nice towels - Definitely recommend staying here. On a practical note, Tesco and Morrisons are not far away too, so shopping was nice and easy and on the way home from LLanberis or Anglesey so no detour needed!
