"We were unaware the hosts lived there and were under constant surveillance our entire stay. There was a misunderstanding on our part about the listing and after cash exchanged hands, we thought everything was smoothed over. We were wrong. We attempted to apologize, but were met with angry words and mischaractizations of our family as we were packing up to leave.
