Hacienda Casa Amarilla is a spacious two-story home connected by a spiral staircase. It features tall ceilings, high-end wood furniture, spacious covered patios and balconies with beachfront views, and colorful art and decor that perfectly complement the home’s vibrant lemon-colored facade.
Each of the four bedrooms features a walk-in closet, a furnished balcony with sweeping beachfront views, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and stylish vessel sinks. The first three bedrooms are furnished with a king-sized bed, while the fourth bedroom offers a queen bed. Some bedrooms and bathrooms offer additional amenities, such as comfortable sitting areas, TVs, or soaking tubs.
With sweeping, high ceilings, the living room offers plenty of comfortable couches and chairs angled around a large wood coffee table and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The living room connects to the gourmet chef’s kitchen, featuring a wrap-around breakfast bar that seats five and state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, including a double oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a microwave, and a six-burner stove with a range hood. Behind the kitchen is a formal dining room with a table that seats ten.
From the kitchen, walk through a sliding glass door onto a spacious patio surrounded by lush landscaping. This patio offers al fresco dining for eight, two comfortable sitting areas, a BBQ grill, and an outdoor fridge. The property also features an outdoor sundeck with a beautiful infinity pool, a hot tub, and lounge chairs that are footsteps away from the pillowy-soft sand and turquoise waves of Playa Flamingo.
This luxury property features an enclosed garage, a private driveway, a laundry room, and smart home technology. It also comes with full-time maid service and 24/7 security.
Pet-friendly policy
We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

The Neighborhood:
Flamingo is a high-end beachfront community notable for its dazzling ocean views and the beautiful, hilly peninsula that juts out into the Pacific, separating Playa Potrero from Playa Flamingo.
Flamingo is home to a wide array of stunning homes and vacation rentals, as well as humbler lodging options, and it has restaurants, grocery stores, banks and other conveniences.
A brand-new, state-of-the-art marina opened to the public in 2022, with slips for yachts and fishing boats, condos for rent and all kinds of shops and restaurants. Other major developments here include the 360 Splendor del Pacifico luxury condominiums on top of the North Ridge, the Margaritaville Beach Resort, and the upscale Mar Vista housing development, where there’s an excellent private school called La Paz.
Good restaurants in town include the Coco Loco, a beachfront eatery known for its coconut drinks and standout cuisine; Marie’s, a reliable standard with a long and enticing menu; Angelina’s, featuring fine Italian dining in an elegant environment; and several options at the Margaritaville, including the 5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill.
Flamingo was largely developed by foreigners, and it lacks the traditional Costa Rican downtown with a soccer field plaza, church and school. The heart of town is an upscale commercial plaza with stone steps, fountains, restaurants and shops. Farther away on the road to Brasilito, you’ll find smaller restaurants, hotels, banks, hardware stores and the Super Massai grocery store.
Flamingo is more or less the centerpiece of a beautiful coastline stretching from the Reserva Conchal resort in the south to the Las Catalinas resort in the north, with the more traditional Costa Rican towns of Brasilito and Potrero in between. Flamingo is within easy striking distance of several beaches, including Conchal, Flamingo, Potrero, Penca, Prieta, Pan de Azucar and Danta.
Getting Around:
Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.
We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.
Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour.
