Buxton renowned for its Opera House and Pavilion Gardens is a short drive away. You are also at the gateway to the Dales and the Peak District National Park, the perfect place to enjoy long walks, leisurely bike rides or horse riding in the quiet Derbyshire countryside. From the cottage some of the best walking in Derbyshire can be found.

This cosy conversion, once a village pub has been tastefully renovated in 2019 to a lovely standard. Perfect for couple and family retreats. Step into the hallway with stone floor, take off your coat and boots and wander through to the open-plan kitchen/diner. The kitchen area offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine, so there’s all the home comforts you need to rustle up a hearty family meal. Come together around the breakfast bar and plan the day’s activities ahead or enjoy a celebration around the dining table by the wood burner. There is an inviting conservatory overlooking the garden, perfect for a quiet morning coffee or reading a book. The lounge is warm and inviting with comfortable seating, wood burner and TV. Heading upstairs to the first floor from the lounge is a bright and airy king-size bedroom with stylish furniture and en-suite shower room and WC. Heading up another staircase, also to the first floor, from the ground floor you will find a further two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, both with pretty fabrics and everything you need for a relaxing stay.
