"Had an enjoyable stay at the Plough,our room was lovely, clean and comfortable, bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent !! Sunday carvery was nice,plenty of good food and good value.Breakfast was ok maybe could do with a little improvement but the staff were excellent ,very attentive 👍"

"The Hotel was quite Olde Worlde dated in places but to be expected given the age of the place,nice comfy bed,clean room, bar area lovely and the outside bar and marquee was excellent,The staff really nice and friendly nothing too much trouble for them,we stayed 2 nights with breakfast very very good portions we struggled a little was very tasty too,we always managed to park behind in the small car park hopefully will return soon."

"What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. Breakfast was lovely, huge croissants. Honestly can’t fault anything. I’d definitely recommend and would love to stay again, I want to try one of the other rooms as they’re all...

I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. "Hotel standard in UK varies - this hotel is absolutely at a higher standard than most UK hotels. Spacious room, nice and comfotable beds, easy to acces by bus or taxi from airport or citycenter, quiet surroundings, a supermarket next to, kind and helpful staff. Breakfast OK - could have been improved by at slice og cheese (but we got it from the supermarket). Prices are OK. Nice hotel - we will come back!"

"Beautiful hotel, rooms are just stunning and have you everything you could need. They even have little extra add ons in the corridors such as marshmallows for the fire, bath oils etc. Staff were all very friendly and polite. Could not recommend enough"

"Things were not great during my stay. The food was awful, and breakfast was particularly disappointing. My room was not clean, and the bed was uncomfortable. To make matters worse, there was no staff available at checkout. On top of that, the invoice I was given was incorrect and did not reflect the amount that had already been paid through Expedia. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I expected a much higher standard of service and accommodation."

"Clean room, good car park - would stay again. Only criticism was that the superior room I was upgraded to had 2 beds stuck together, which was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on."
