The restroom near the office was marked "out of order". After talking to management, it's pretty clear they have no intention of removing the sign. When there are 3 or more occupants in a room, it's important to have another option when someone is in the shower.

Clean but wouldn't stay again
There were only three cars in the lot and they wanted us to stay on the second level and no elevator. No problem we can walk - just didn't understand why. Two of the light switches (one on the night stand) didn't work. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was not appetizing. We went to McDonald's down the street. But it also wasn't expensive so if you are just passing through and want a clean bed to sleep in - it works.

No elevator for handicap travelers. Pretty run down hotel. Could use a facelift. Very noisy, thin walls. Like the separate toilet/bathtub and sink areas. Okay place for a one night stay. When I checked in, I had a lady drive up and tell me not to stay there. She claimed her daughter just stayed there and they had roaches. I didn’t see any.

The guy at the counter was rude, the whole hotel smelled like urine & cigarettes, the pool was already closed, the bottom of the wood furniture (side tables, desk, etc) were deteriorating like the room had been flooded at some point (& we were on the 2nd floor), doors don’t latch properly, microwave was dirty. The only good things I can say about this hotel is that is in a good location & the housekeeper was friendly.

Our first night there our room's air conditioning did not work. It was 107 that day. They need to update the entire property. What I did like was the staff's willingness to make things right

Cheap rates, free parking, interior furnishings are stuck in the early 2000s and look outdated, breakfast is basic (bagels, waffles, Twinkies, apples, cereal), duvets had holes, pillows were stained, it's better not to look too closely at what you get.

There was nothing unique about this hotel but it was a decent value and was very clean. Breakfast was carbs only - no meat or protein and only bagels, waffle maker, cereal. My only real gripe was that the only towels were face/hand sized towels. I am 6'4" and used all to dry off with.

Disappointed
I’ve stayed in Days Inn before, I know it’s not as great as other hotels, but this place was disappointing. The clean sheets had pubic hair on them. The floors were not vacuumed well. The toilet constantly was running. The water pressure was not great. They clean every other day. When I asked for new towels I was handed clean towels that had long black hairs on them. It smelled like smoke throughout the building. It’s a place to stay, but if you have the option to go a little further north to Harrisonville- I’d highly recommend doing that.

Curtains and chair were stained up and nasty. We were in a non smoking room but our room and the whole hotel smelled like an ashtray. This is a $50/night hotel that is charging $100/night. Avoid it if you can.

I loved the staff at this property. They were very accommodating and very responsive to requests. The only suggestions I have are that the grout around the bases of the toilets could be scraped and replaced and the shower curtains could be washed more often. Other than that it was a good place to stay for the price point.

Not Able To Spend The Night
Such a strong smell of paint, we could not and did not stay the night. We were told by the manager that we had already paid as he tried to get us to stay, then later wanted a copy of our credit card. We left and found another place to stay for the night.

Staff was friendly. You could smell cigarette smoke as soon you walked in. I did not enjoy that. Room was not the cleanest. Hair found on towells and bathtub did not drain well. Pictures and walls had visible dirt on them.

It was good enough and friends that stayed at the other hotel in Butler thought this property was far, far better. I hope that helps when choosing.

Adequate but limite amanitires
Room was adequate and clean nut breakfast is virtually non-existent as there was never coffee nir any type danish and often no milk for cereals

Butler 2 nights
When we were checking in we found that they had us on the second floor and no elevator. The person at the front desk scoured their reservations to see if a 1st floor had become available. YES, the day was saved as there was no other hotel in Butler. Room was clean, shower warm enough didn't try to see how hot it would get. I have seen other reviews about aged towels and sheets, same here. Clean is the main feature. The flip safety latch on our door was pulling off of the door and staff removed the door side as it was interfering with closing the door at times.
