"We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "

"First sight of the hotel made me think its was a bit run down, outside paint work and car park (that was of a good size) needed some TLC. On going in the Hotel was busy, the 2 staff that where there were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was fine room was ok for me ( bathroom needed to be made over) i was in room 12 facing the road so if you a light sleeper not the best room as you face the main road.

"Fantastic, greeted with milk in the fridge and fresh eggs, Lovely host who was so freindly, full of local knowledge and advice on things to do. The cottage absolutely beautiful with log fire (although we didnt use it as the place was so toasty and warm). Quality throughout, everything you could need for a holiday, shops 10 minutes away by car, lovely countryside with loads to do, easy drive to Scarborough, Filey and York. "Great reception nothing was too much trouble. Parked the car and able to walk easily round town and beaches.
Rooms cleaned daily, and for a change real coffee in the room. Microwave if required. We’ll be back next year all being well. "

Accommodation was 3 steps(I counted) to the bar/restaurant which was beautifully furnished,and the restaurant overlooked the harbour.I would say probably the best seats in the house to enjoy our evening meal,and gorgeous Yorkshire breakfast.Definitely will stay here again if there's a show we want to go to at the Spa, ideal location."

"Max and Ursula were excellent hosts who made me feel really welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was really comfortable and perfect for what I needed. The Sunflower Lodge was in a great location and within walking distance of the centre and less than a 10 minute walk to North Pier! I would definitely stay here again!"
