"We had a great stay with friends at this house. It is spacious, very cozy, and spotlessly clean. Check-in was very simple, and communication with the host was fast and easy. Just a small note: the house does not provide shampoo, conditioner, or shower gel, so make sure to bring your own."

"Home is nice and cozy. We stayed 5 nights. Property is spacious and quiet truly in the country. Owner was kind enough to offer alternative dates to have 24hours between us and another family for cleaning. We are big cooks and would have just like storage containers for leftover, foil or plastic storage bags.Do to being out in the country garbage had to be kept in the laundry room in big hefty can. Not a problem but by the time we left was getting ripe!No AC but keeping windows open at night...

"Fabulous place, as advertised, highly recommend. We travel extensively, one of the if not the nicest place we have stayed. One note, as older adults we are not technically savvy, hence if you want to watch live television, I.e sports, it can be a challenge."

Close to restaurants so two tired fishermen could actually walk to dinner and coffee. Sue was a great hostess. Easy communication and of course the ice cream was great. Lots of places to see close to Shingletown. Burney Falls, Cinder Cone, Manzanita, Helen and Emerald lakes. Lassen Volcanic hike, Bumpass Hell, mudpots, Subway lave tube etc."

"Another fabulous stay at Whitmore Falls, with perfect weather and the best hosts anywhere. We swam; we jumped; we lounged; we picked and ate fresh veggies from the garden; we fed the goats and horses; we stargazed; we slept soundly; and we enjoyed every minute! "
